Chinese Gender Calendar
The Chinese Conception Chart - or Chinese Gender Chart - was discovered in a royal tomb over 700 years ago. According to legend, the chart is capable of predicting the gender of an unborn child based on two variables: the baby's month of conception and the mother's age.
It is claimed that this ancient method is highly accurate - but no clinical studies have verified this: Have fun!

Can Timing of Intercourse Influence Gender Outcome?
At conception, gender is determined by chromosome characteristics. The egg carries an X chromosome while the sperm can carry an X or a Y chromosome. If the sperm carrying an X chromosome fertilizes the egg, a girl will be conceived. If the sperm carrying a Y chromosome fertilizes the egg, a boy will be conceived.
Studies indicate that the sperm with the X chromosome - or female chromosome - have a longer life span than the male sperm (with the Y chromosome). Yet the male sperm appear to have a higher motility. Sperm motility is measured in two ways: percentage of sperm exhibiting any kind of movement, and the quality of this movement, which is called the forward progression. Poor motility means the sperm have a difficult time swimming toward the egg.
Though only theoretical, it is believed that if intercourse takes place closer to ovulation, then the probability is greater that the child will be male, due to the high motility (forward progression) and the decreased life span of the sperm.
The sperm with the X chromosome - or female chromosome - have a longer life span than the male sperm, but exhibit decreased motility. Therefore, intercourse that takes place earlier may provide increased probability of a girl.

I tried this chart and according to the dates I was predicted to have a girl. Sure enough, today my sonogram confirmed a girl! I have 2 daughters already, one is 19 yrs. old, the other is 18. For fun I typed in my age and month of conception with them and lo and behold....both predicted girls! : ) I told my husband if he wants to try for a boy next time we will definitely consult this chart before conceiving! P.S. By the way, I wasted my money on two Intelligender tests which both predicted boy! I want a refund!!!!!! = D

I have two boys and trying for a baby Girls please advise
When i was pregnant i found this chart. So i sat down made a list of the age of everyone i could think of and the month they conceived and they were ALL correct acording to this chart! I dont know how, but they were. According to the chart i was having a little girl, and in my first ultrasound (where gender could be decieded) the doctor said it was a boy. Well couple weeks later during another ultrasound, it was determinded that it was definitely a little girl!
We're just hoping the same will come true for my sister, which according to the chart is having a little boy!
