Welcome to the site. It's good to be surrounded by others that have been through the same thing. I too had a m/c over the Summer in August. I was very fortunate to conceive after my first period, but still very stressed about this pregnancy working out. I started on Tuesday having my HCG levels checked every 48 hours to make sure they're going up like they should, and have my first u/s next Tuesday to see if everything looks ok. The last time my baby only grew to 6 1/2 weeks and I m/c at 8 1/2 wks. M/C is such a difficult thing to go through and get over. I wish you the best of luck!! Lots of baby dust!!

Welcome kari! I am sooo sorry about your M/c. I also had a m/c. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks PG in October. I am currently waiting on AF to get here so I can have a normal cycle. How long did it take you to get AF after your miscarriage?
I know it must have been very difficult for you and I hope you get your BFP soon!

It took about 5 weeks for AF to show. I hope you get your BFP soon too!

Welcome Kari!!! Everyone on this site is so nice and so informative. Ttc is very emotional and these women help so much with the support!

welcome to the site. i, too, had a miscarriage. i conceived the first month of ttc in june 09. i later miscarried twins at 9 wks. we started trying again in sept. we were told to wait 3 cycles but we didn't. we are both 35 and want to get our family started immediately. we thought, if it happens it happens. but as i haven't gotten my bfp yet, we have inadvertently waited the 3 mos the doc suggested. i'm hoping for a bfp in the coming months. there has been an abundance of bfps this month. lots of baby dust floating around. good luck to you. you should find lots of information and support from this site.

Hi Kari, Welcome to the site!! First and foremost, So sorry about your loss.

I'm another Miscarriage Survivor on here. I miscarried August 9,2009. I was 8w1d. The baby's heart stopped beating 7 weeks. We found out the baby was missing a chromosome.

This is our first Cycle of REALLY TTC AGAIN. I've had 3 periods since the M/C now. And plus if we concieve this month we would have a due date in August!!! And we really want that. SO fx(fingers crossed). You can read my story on the Support thread.

BTW AF arrived 24 days after my D&C.
