Hi Ladies:
Just wondering if anybody has any constructive criticism for "our plan" this cycle which is :
- six days before expected O, start taking mucinex (new)
- be sure to stay well hydrated (never thought much about it before)
- BD CD10, 12, 14, 15, 16 (14 being day I normally get my positive OPK, will of course adjust if not)
- BD rear entry..... a doctor once told me my uterus was tipped, and I've heard this is a good position to conceive. Also, DH finds this easier when BD a few days in a row.
- after BD I'm going to try the "butt in the air" thing somebody mentioned! Seems logical when already kind of in that position. Also with the tipped uterus, wisdom seems to be to lie on my stomach instead of my back....
- use a softcup (not sure how in that position, I may wait for a while, then flip over and put it in)
- try to have orgasm after DH
We are toying with BDing in the morning, but I'm not sure if the difference in the sperm count is worth that inconvenience of waking up really early. DH has to be out of bed by 6:40...... I mean, I know we would do whatever it takes (!) but would like to try to keep it enjoyable!
I TOTALLY know that sometimes it's just a question of time, and we may be doing things right and it's just taking some time, but if anybody has any suggestions for what we might consider doing differently, I'm all ears! It's easier to be positive when I feel like I'm tackling the situation with a good plan!

I think your plan sounds great and will hopefully give you the BFP you deserve. When I got my BFP I did most all of these things and also drank a lot of green tea. Supposedly that helps with fertility with women. I had one full fat serving of dairy each day and DH ate nuts and more red meat. Supposedly that is supposed to boost male fertility. But it sounds like you have a great plan and are doing everything right. I hope this is it for you!!!!

Your plan sounds good! (That also might be wishful thinking on my part, because I did a lot of those things! lol!) We tried BDing in the a.m....but we have to be in work by 7, so we had to get up at 5 am. Blech! DH is a morning person, and I am not. But I will say, it was a pretty pleasant way for him to wake me up.
I told him he'd better not try that on a weekend, though! That's when I catch up on my sleep!
And with the butt in the air thing...the stuff definitely stays inside longer...no leaking! (Until I right myself, at least!). Sooo, fx it works! Your plan sounds greats! I'd go with Kim's advice, and look into ways to boost fertility through nutrition as well! My DH had more nuts too, and had some zinc...but we may have done the zinc too late. We shall see!!

I think your plan soundz wonderful!!! So wonderful, I think I'm gonna have 2 use some of your techniques, hell I mit jus have 2 use the whole plan... soundz like a foolproof plan 2 me & I hope u get the BFP we all have our fingera crossed 4!!!
Foolproof maybe, but luck-proof, I'm not sure! Let's give it a go, shall we??
At least I'm hoping it's going to give us a good chance.
Thanks for the tips Kimmy - just had a cup of green tea, and I've recently started making my own yogurt from whole milk, so I'll have an excused (as if I needed one) to gobble it all.
Jen, I hope this approach works for you!! Fingers crossed. Ug....can't imagine 5am.... Well, maybe we can give the morning a shot a few times, I'm just not sure that we'd feel like pulling it off (!) several days running.
