Hello everyone!!! wow its all kinda overwhelming. Alittle about me, well my husband and I had a pregnancy scare about 3 months ago. At first I was really upset and worried because he's in the military and due for deployment next summer mid Aug. But the more we talked the more we decided if we plan around deployments a baby would never come. We have an 18 month little boy and now im excited and were really setting our hearts on another baby. i just ordered my first shipment of early tests i would have earlier if i found this site earlier but ahh!! the nerves! its nice to have ppl to talk to about this stuff.
Welcome Amanda!

We did it!!!!
Hi Amanda! First let me say a BIG thank you to your husband for his service, and to you and your son for your sacrifice! I think that was a very strong decision you made to not try to plan a baby around deployments. Yes, it will be tough when Daddy is gone, but as an Army wife, you've already got the hardest job in the military,
so you'll handle it just fine. It's been my (second-hand) experience that military wives, by default, have a pretty good support system.
Anyway, welcome to our little "family." I think you're going to love it here! Lots of good, reliable info and non-judgemental support.

welcome amanda!! ur going to fing alot of help on this site. lots of baby dust to you!!
You'll find there are a couple of us on here who can relate to the frustration of TTC with a DH who is gone a lot. My DH was working on a boat where it was five weeks on, then five weeks off, so basically we've been TTC for a year and a half, but technically only half of that time counts because he was only home for half of my ovulations during that time! lol Fortunately he just got a really good severance package, so I'm going to have him all to myself for the next couple of months. Can't wait to actually get to TTC every single cycle! lol Good luck to you!

Hi Amanda,
Welcome! I'm new on this site too. I want to wish you good luck and please say ''Thank you'' to your husband for his service. You really have to be a strong person, I've a lot of respect for you.
You have to miss him so much when he's away.
Hope it will work soon
