I am not sure what is going on with my cycle. I stopped the pill in Sept and had a period. October I had a positive LH test and think I ovulated because I had some spotting two days later. So, since then I am on day 40 and no period. I felt cramps aweek ago. This weekend I felt some cramps on my left side (ovulation cramps?) Did a LH test and had the double lines. So am I ovulating now or are my hormones just all screwed up? I just started doing the BBT charting so I will look for a rise in temp. But now I am not sure where I am in my cycle.
Don't lose hope just yet. My first cycle that I charted I didn't ovulate until CD 40-something, and after that everything went back to normal. It's definitely best to combine charting with the OPKs because it's possible to get false positives with the OPKs, but the change in temps will tell you when you've definitely OVed. You can start charting temps whenever you want, but it might be too late in this cycle to know anything for sure.
