Hi Ladies,
I've been stalking the forums for about two months now.  Decided today was the day to join the fun.  I have a history of fibroids and have had a myomectomy to have them removed.  I was infertile before the surgery, the fibroids were blocking my tubes.  I am a newlywed.  We've been together for six years and married for 2 months.  We are both 35 and ready to get our family started.  We  started TTC in June 09.  Amazingly, I got preggo right away, six months after my surgery.  Unfortunately, I miscarried in late August.  We started trying again in Sept although we were told to wait 3 cycles.  (I'm not a patient person... ) We've been unsuccessful so far.  (I should listen to my doc, eh?) I'm currently in my 2WW.  I am 7 dpo and making myself crazy.  I've been poas the past two days although every night I promise myself I won't do it.  Only symptoms I have right now are pelvic fullness and mild cramping the past two days.  Of course, these symptoms can mean anything, doesn't mean I'm not hoping they mean I've got a BFP in my future.  I want to wait until friday when I'll be 10 dpo.  All I can say is thank god for the cheap tests on this site.  I was going broke!
Well, that's my story.  Thanks for listening. You ladies have been a great support for me, without you even knowing I was here.

Cinemagrrl,
Welcome! I was also a "forum stalker" for a little while before I took the plunge, and I am so glad I did! Although I am PG and already have 3 beautiful boys, I am also very new to TTC, because all my other PGs were total surprises. In the short 3 months that we were actively, consciously TRYING, I was amazed at how stressful and emotionally draining it could be. I have SUCH respect for long-term TTCers and anyone who has fertility "issues."

Isn't it funny how quickly we become POAS addicts?! Laughing out loud I started testing at 4DPO, and went through 4 BFNs before I got my first BFP on 10DPO, which I didn't believe, so I took 2 tests the next day! Since then, I've taken 4 more tests, just to see that faint pink line get good and dark! Big smile

Thank God for the miracle of modern medicine that can allow you, after being told you could not have children, to begin trying for a little miracle of your own! Hopefully, you will be joining us on the PP forum very soon!

Best wishes for baby blessings!

P.S. You DO realize that now that we all know that you're going to POAS on Friday, that we will be waiting for your post first thing that morning, right?!?! Laughing out loud Don't keep us waiting! Wink

Hello there:
My name is Adrensmom and I wanted to welcome you to our forum here. Me, myself, having had three M/C's this year, completely understand what you are feeling. I believe after everything that you've been through, which is a miracle in itself, you will be blessed very soon with your own bundle of joy. Please know that carrying and delivering a baby after M/C is definitely possible. I believe, but, don't quote me on this, that you have about a 85% chance at a successful pregnancy the next time out. My situation is a little different from you'rs only because, I'm older then forty. I'm 42yrs and delivered my son 2months after my fourtieth birthday. It's been 4weeks today since my last D&C and I plan to start TTC after my appt with Genetics Counseling on the nineteenth of the month. I have no problem getting pregnant, for some reason after having a prior successful pregnancy, I'm not able to carry past, 8wks! Even though I've had three M/C's this year I know that another baby is in God's plans for me as well as you and I haven't given up hope. I'll keep you in my prayers and wished you lots of BD........Good luck on Friday.....

Thanks ladies for such a warm welcome. I'm still working through my feelings of loss. We lost the twins so close to our wedding (we found out we were having twins two weeks before I miscarried). I had a D&C two weeks before our wedding day. Luckily, I was able to throw myself into the last days of planning and we had a lovely, romantic day.

Anyway, I'm glad I finally took the plunge to join officially. I wish us all success in the coming months. I know I would love a thanksgiving gift or christmas gift of a BFP. Baby dust to us all.
