According to my "Your Over-35 Week-by-Week Guide to Pregnancy" book, m/s should kick in full-force this week for me. And if I remember correctly from my previous pregnancies, I guess that's about right. Oh joy.
Jennifer I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you might not get M/S this time since you're haivng a GIRL Yes, this will be my official prediction for you....start buying pink lol j/k
Ha Ha I only said it because she's set on a boy, but girls are so much fun. I'm pretty much a tomboy too and natalee is only 15 months and loves playing cars bt it's fun. I think you need to experience a daughter...but seriously yes I will say girl
Let's see if that old wive's tale holds true. I had severe m/s for the first three months.
The u/s technician said my baby looks like a boy.. she probably saw an indication but didn't want to keep my hopes up til my u/s on the 18th-20th week. It would be nice to have a boy first -- tho girls are usually fun to dress up, they're like princesses. Oh, a healthy baby is enough for me. hehehe. But Jennifer, since you have 3boys, its time for a girl.
As far as symptoms go for me I don't really have any other than hating sleeping on my left side EVERY night. I feel so guilty if I lay on my back -even for 10 minutes but it feels so good! Sometimes I lay on my right side but I try not to fall asleep that way. I don't know what I'm gonna do when my belly gets really big. Our queen bed is starting to feel small already expecially when I put a pillow between my legs and I have to move back toward the middle of the bed

The wait is FINALLY over...we're going to have a little GIRL!
Hey Nancy, you can lay on your back until 16 weeks. The baby is not heavy enough to put enough pressure on the artery got cut it off and even if he did you'd get uncomfortable and roll on your own anyways. Sleep any way that you're able to. I'm still sleeping on my stomach. I slept on my stomach as long as I could with DD, then I just used pillows to prop my belly up so it still felt like I was laying on my belly. I only switch to my left side if I start getting numbness or dizziness.
Jennifer,
It depends on the person. I had morning sickness HORRIBLE when I was PG with my DD and this time hardly any, but a few of my friends had m/s with their boy and not their girl. It just depends on every person I think.
I am sooo glad to be done w/ m/s!!!

Interestingly enough, I just read something yesterday (an old wives' tale, of course) that said you have WORSE m/s with girls! LOL!
My hubby is thrilled with your prediction, Bethany.
I'm invoking my right to remain silent, so as not to incriminate myself.
