I thought that one fun way to track my pregnancy would be to see how much my tummy grows. I remember toward the end of my last PG, I felt like I was bigger around than I was tall. Laughing out loud Now, some of you may think I'm crazy for wanting to measure my disappearing waistline, but after 3 PGs, I don't really have a true waistline anymore...it's more like a slight indent halfway between my bbs and my hips. LOL! Plus, my husband thinks I'm at my sexiest when I'm pregnant, and his motto is, "The bigger the better," although that mostly applies to my bbs. Wink So I took my "baseline" measurement this morning. I won't give you the actual number, but I will try to post my growth every so often. Anybody else keeping track of your measurements?

How cute your DH is! I am not actually measuring, but I am taking a profile and frontal picture every week. So far I just have a little pudge, really puney actually. I can't wait till I have a true baby bump!! Everyone keeps telling me it'll happen, and then the dang nurse in the OB office was like, oh your so tiny, you probably won't show till you are 8 mos pregnant!! I almost wacked her!!! That better not be the case!!! What a jip that would be!!! haha, I'm sure I will show before then, but I am so impatient, I want my bump! Smile

I dont measure my waist but I do take a profile picture every 2 weeks and I just started taking a picture during the other weeks w/o bare-belly because everyone keeps asking for pictures and I really don't want to post my bare-belly shots on Facebook. If you hadn't seen already we have a photobucket page where many of us are posting our pictures.

Markelle-I know I've said this but you will get your belly soon, I promise. I can definately see a difference between your first few weeks and the most recent pics. Enjoy this time becasue soon it will be uncomfortable! It seems like my belly is getting bigger everyday, I'm having trouble sleeping now. If I have to roll over it takes a lot of effort and I'm not even all that big yet! I guess I need to invest in a body pillow.

Markelle,

You will get your bump soon. I also have a petite frame like you at 5'4 and no body fat whatsoever, but look at me, i'm showing so much already. Everywhere I go, people seem to notice it. I cannot hide (not like i'm trying to) it even with thick jacket on. Your belly will get bigger as soon as it hits the fourth month. Oh yeah, I felt my baby move yesterday and this one is for sure. The chicken I was eating last night was a little too salty. Maybe baby didn't like it so I got kicked. Wasn't hard or anything, but definitely something. Like someone gently poking me. Your bump will come soon. I took pictures last week and will post it up on facebook. I haven't taken a bare belly pic since 14 weeks... maybe end of this month. hehe.

Stevan,
I remember seeing the info about the photobucket page, but I can't remember which thread it was in...can you post it again for me? Thanks!

Markelle,
With my first PG, all the way up until I gave birth (practically), people were like, "You don't even look pregnant!" I think that was supposed to be a compliment (?!?), but it just made me feel F-A-T!! My problem is that I have big bbs (to my hubby's delight) - 44/46DDD when I'm NOT pregnant. With my first PG, my belly - at its biggest - was just barely even with my bbs. Fortunately, my belly has gotten bigger than my bbs with each subsequent PG, so that helps. Big smile Screw what the nurse said, it's been my experience that tiny women actually show the most, simply because the change is SO drastic. You go from this tiny little thing that looks like a zipper (from the side, if you stick your tongue out) to this adorable basketball/watermelon under your shirt. Give it time...especially if this is your first, and more so if you're in decent shape, your abdominal muscles are doing a great job right now of holding everything up and in. You start to show sooner with each subsequent pregnancy (when everything's all stretched out and lazy). Me, I'm only 5w2d now, but I fully expect to be showing by Thanksgiving! Bring on the bump! Party

Haha, thanks guys. I know it will come..I can tell that there is a small difference when I am undressed, but in clothes it is like nothing is there. I think maybe soon it will start to show a little more. If not, oh well, what can you do... I just keep looking down for a belly haha, As long as the baby is doing good and is healthy than that is all that really matters.

Markelle,
Before you know it you won't have to "look for" your belly. You'll just look down and go, "Hey! Where did my feet go?" Laughing out loud

OK, I posted some pics on the photobucket page! Smile I posted belly pics from each of my previous pregnancies, just for fun. (And yes, I am wearing the same outfit each time...we planned it that way, although I'm not sure that same shirt is gonna fit me at 25w this time around. Laughing out loud ) I also posted a pic of my 3D/4D u/s that I had done with PG#2. And finally, I posted my side-by-side comparison of a dip-stick HPT (BFP) and the Clearblue Easy Digital (BFP). Both were done on 11DPO, using the same urine sample.

Can't wait 'til I get a minute to sit down and view everyone else's pics!
