Hello ladies!
So I am reading these posts and I see people that have been trying less than a year. Is there anyone out there with more than a year under their belt? This gets REALLY frustrating dealing with it for years, and its nice to have a place to go and talk about it on!
I have been taking Fertilaid on and off all 3 years and no baby. I know the problem there is I need to take it daily. My hubby has low motility and me, well i'm a controled diabetic. My health is fine. We plan to see a reproductive Dr. soon to get REALLY serious. Today... I found out a cousins wife is prego. They got married a year ago. So today I am feeling low. I am 30 .....and a girl I know who is 20 just announced she is too ( not married) . I feel SO much that I am passed by. My husband and I have been ready for this, for many years now. He has an awesome job, I am home and wild oats are sewn. Bring it on! Hopefully with both of us on the vitamins we can do this without IVF or anything like that.
Wish me luck and GOOD luck to you all!! Any tips are appreciated!
Hi Niki6,
I am 24 years old, with a beautiful 5 year old boy (From a previous relationship) and loving husband. We have been TTC for just over 3 years now, with no luck. My cycles are fairly regular, coming in at 29-31 days. My husband has had a SA done, and everything is normal on his end and I have had every test in the book run, and all things are normal on my end, so unfortunately, I have an unexplained infertility problem.... So please don't feel like you're alone - I know there are a few others on here that have also been trying for quite some time too....Hopefully you'll find this site helpful and supportive, it brings my spirits up everytime I see someone get a BFP - I keep thinking it will soon be me posting the wonderful news!
We have been on 2 rounds of 50mg (days 5-9) Clomid with no luck and 1 round of 100mg with no luck...In the 2WW now of another 100mg Clomid cycle...
Good luck and lots of baby dust!

Hi Niki! DH and I have been TTC for about 16 months now, so I have at least a little bit of an idea what you're going through. I haven't had any tests done yet, so I don't know for sure what the problem is, but I suspect PCOS. I have an appointment in December with a fertility specialist, so I've got my fingers crossed that she'll be able to give answers and help out fairly quickly.
In the meantime I've been using OPKs, BBT, checking CM and using softcups. It worked to get me pregnant once, but I miscarried at 6 1/2 weeks. Now I'm pulling out the big guns. I just ordered a Cue II fertility monitor so that hopefully I can know a few days earlier when my fertile window is, since my periods are very irregular. Obviously I'm pretty impatient! lol But I'm 31 and DH is 35 and we want to have more than one kid, so I'm anxious to get the ball rolling.
I totally understand your frustration, too, with feeling like everyone around you can get pregnant but you're left in the dust. My sister found out she was pregnant with baby #6 at the same time I became pregnant, and she went on to run half a marathon without miscarrying. I can't quite resent her because I know she didn't WANT a 6th baby...lol....but sometimes I wonder how she got all the fertile genes in the family. Plus there's a girl I know who just got married in August and was expressing frustration that she was unable to get pregnant yet. On the one hand I certainly don't wish her to have to struggle like me, but on the other hand I want to tell her she has no idea what she's talking about.
Anyway, just know that you are certainly not alone in all this, and feel free to come around and vent your frustrations any time!

Hi Nicki... my husband and I have been trying for a year and 8 months to get pregnant. All his tests came back ok, and all my blood work came back just fine too. I did have some low grade cells which were taken care of by cryosurgery (I go back in Dec. to see if everything was taken care of with that), but other than that everything seemed to be fine. I was supposed to go have an endometrial biopsy and an HSG done to make sure everything else was ok, but after the Colposcopy and the Cryo, I was a little sick of things being stuck into me for awhile - but perhaps after the holidays, I will go in for the 2 painful procedures, just to rule out any possible problems.
( Talk about wanting to cry!
I have taken 2 rounds of Clomid (days 5-9) 50mg (I am ovulating just fine, but was taking it to regulate my period since they were anywhere from 35-46 days) And though I am in the end of my 2 week wait this month - I am showing all the signs of starting AF, which is a total bummer.... I thought for sure this was the month... oh well. I have had written on my calendar for the past 3 months that "I will be pregnant by Christmas" but I only have 1 month to go... better make it count.
Good luck to you. I know how disappointing it can be. Since I have started trying, 5 girls I work with have gotten pregnant and had their babies and 4 girls are pregnant as of right now. It seems like every time I go to work, someone else is finding out they are pregnant. Nothing like being surrounded by a ton of pregnant girls (one even got pregnant on her first try for her first baby!)
Keep your hopes up, that's all you can do. It's nice to have this website to know that there are so many other couples out there having the same problem (well, it sucks that anyone has to have that problem- but as long as we all have to go through it, it's nice to know that there others out there that know what you are going through and that you are not alone).
You are defentaly not alone. I am only 23 and I do have one child who is almost 3. Me and my husband has been trying for another since he was a month old. I know the ups and down. I know how it feels to not get one. I have had tests and my husband has been tested. All is good, but still no baby. I just ordered firtialaid and going to try it. Good luck with everyones TTC.
