I posted this website in reply to the Free Stuff thread, but since this stuff's not free, I thought I'd better post it here.

One book that I recommend to every mom (new or veteran), is "On Becoming Babywise" by Gary Ezzo. My best friend recommended it to me when I was PG w/ K1, and I've used its principles with each of my kids. It really works, and was SUCH a help to a totally clueless, brand-new mom (i.e., ME)! All my kids slept through the night by the time they were two months old, and we get compliments ALL the time on what happy kids we have. I highly recommend this book! It's a quick, simple read.
I am with you on Baby Wise! What an amazing book and what a help it was to me! I love, love, love it! I am such a better mom when I get my sleep. How much more do growing babies need their sleep! I also got compliments about my happy babies. What a relief to know why they were crying and how to plan my day! I very highly recommend this book, too!
Hope I can officially join you all here soon!

Another great book that will give you loads of information they don't give you in any other PG book or at the doctor's office, as well as a good laugh is "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy." I can't remember who it's by (Vivian or Victoria I-something), but I also posted it on the Resources thread. It'll remind you a lot of our forums!

A Girlfriends Gude was definitely my favorite book! I was also just given the book by Jenny McCarthy, which was okay, it had pretty much all of the information of the other books in avery quick and to the point manner. I think I read the whole thing in 2 hours.
