Hi, my name is Tonya and I am on my 4th month of ttc. My DH and I have been married 7 years and can't wait to start a family. So far it's been quite a roller coaster ride. I was previously on the pill for about 15 years before I went off in June. Every month has been different so its been very difficult. Life off the pill has not been fun, but I am trying to be as positive as I can. I am very fortunate to have a supportive DH that doesn't freak out when I start sobbing after AF has arrived. Anyways, I could babble on and on for hours (but I won't put you all through that)!! I am new to this whole thing, so bear with me!

Heyya, my story is probably a little different than everyone elses. I have not yet technically been able to TTC yet, but it took 4 months to get my IUD out. So I have been wanting to TTC for what ssems to be a long and frustrating journey just starting out. Physicaly painful and medically scary. I am no finally IUD free and hope to start trying in about a week. I get that this may seem like a frustrating reach out to some women, but I also have reasons to beleive that I will have issues too. Just nervous and not ready to shar this journey with friends and family - so I am hoping I can share with others who are in similiar situations.

Welcome to the site! The ttc journey is definitely an emotional roller coaster full of disappointments and heartbreak. You are surrounded by women who "get it" and will be a great support.

Thank you so much! I hope so too. I have learned a fair bit so far about TTC from this site - there sure is a lot of info. Today I purchased OPK testing stips and some early pregnancy test strips. I never buy anything online, but for a whole wack of them it is cheaper than 2 pregnancy tests! I have been taking prenatal vitamins for about 6 months now and I am going to get some baby asprin to. I am so excited to finally be able to get started!

Thank you all!! I have been reading many forums from other websites over the past month and this by far has the nicest and most caring people. It's nice to know I have somewhere to go when I need someone to talk to when DH wouldn't understand. On a previous post I said that I was going to not do OPK this month (after not doing them this past month) but I have thrown that out the window. Pre-seed, OPK's and soft cups are on the way!!!
I am trying not to get my hopes up from reading other people's posts when they used these items, but hopefully the combo will do something! I tried one month not doing anything (well except BDing) and I think I was more stressed that month than I was when I monitored things. My DH may think I have gone nuts - but if that will get me pg then I am all for it!!!

I think you're going to love it here....I know I do, and I'm on of those people who is really cautious about joining internet groups...it took me FOREVER to join Fabcebook. LOL! But I feel right at home here, and I'm sure some of the ladies wished I didn't...I seem to post responses to just about every thread (hee, hee)!
AJ, I was curious about your mention of baby aspirin...I've never heard of that before as a TTC aid, but then again, I'm very new to this community myself. Can you clue me in? Thanks!
