Hi Cadence.. Smile Glad there is someone else to talk to seems everyone else is in another group and never on here anymore..Welcome!! I hope you get your BFP very very soon and don't have any struggles!! I am also 42.. I have a wonderful son 23 y/o from a previous marriage-got pregnant very quickly with him, about 2-3 weeks after going of the BC pill. Me and my new DH are trying for one of our own. This is our 2nd month TTC. He has a daughter 16 y/o who lives with us. My son is getting married next year.. and if I don't get preg this month I am gonna hold off "trying so hard" for about 2 months cuz I am not gonna miss my son's wedding!!! No way. He comes first. You should get into the buddy groups.. I am in one that only has 2 other girls in it. You can just post on the thread about buddy groups and Elizabeth will add you to one. We would love to have you..Being in our 40's is kinda risky, and its nice to have someone else in the same boat to share things with!! Lots of baby dust to you!! Big smile

Divorced in 2011 met a wonderful man! decided to try again... had a BFP the first month trying but it did not stick.. so waiting for AF to come to start charting.. I;m taking Fertilaid, prenatal vitamins and waiting for FertileCM to come in which should be here tomorrow.. if any of you ladies out there can give some advice and support would be awesome!!!

Hello Ladies. I just turned 41 in February and have been trying to conceive since January. I had a MC in 09 and praying that I can actually still get pregnant. My boyfriend is 27 and Im kind of ashamed because I feel like its my fault that I havent conceived. Im starting to think that I am not ovulating. I am currently taking fertilaid and I have a regular 26 day cycle give or take a day but this month I came 5 days early. I know its due to the fertilaid but I am hoping that this month it will trigger ovulation. Fingers crossed. Tongue

Hi wnlindsey,
I noticed your msg because I once was part of this group but it dwindled down and has very little activity. If you go to the main gruops there is a thread to join a buddy group. Ask Elizabeth to be part of a group, she will place you in a more active one.

There are many ladies on this group who have gone through so much and similar things to you and I know will be of support too Love It's good to be around others who know what it's like. HUGS.

hey wnlindsey,
I was part of this group a long time ago. My son just turned 2 and I was 43 when I had him. He is my first!
It is helpful if you start tracking your ovulation with your temperature readings and an ovulation kit. There are a lot of positive things you can do to increase your chances that are easy. Diet, exercise, tracking, taking supplements like Vitex, evening primrose, and the OV kit. These boards will give you lots of help. I also did Accupuncture for 4 months, every other week. Look into some Eastern medicine solutions.
It is also a good idea to get checked out by your OBGYN to rule out any medical issues that could prevent you from getting pregnant. Get all of your bloodwork up to date and go from there.
Bottom line is, you have to be proactive at this age. My "fertility specialist" said I was not going to conceive without IVF....I didn't listen and he was wrong.
Good Luck!
