RNW,
We started off by purchasing OPKs, ovulation predictor kits and a basal thermometer. We use the opk about a week or so after my cycle until I see a line darker than the test line. We purchased the pregnancy tests from this site as well. I went to my gyno for a check up and passed that and then we saw a fertility specialists as well. My husband had his sperm count/motility checked which he passed with flying colors. You need to have sex up to 5 days leading up to your ovulation, which is the best time for you to get pregnant. Some say have sex every day leading up to ovulation and some say every other day leading up to and including your ovulation day. You wil have to decide what works best for you and your man. I have also tried placing a pillow under me during sex and elevating my legs for 1/2 hour to 1 hour afterwards. They say if it takes you longer than a year you should see a specialists, which we are doing now. They can perform special tests to see where the problem lies if there is one. I hope this helps, i know how you feell. Everyone around us is having children as well, some who do and dont want them or can and cant take care of them. Your time will come. Stay in touch and keep me posted on your progress. Also, it is a good idea to begin taking prenatal vitamins or the fertilaid that they sell on this site so that your body can begin to prep for pregnancy.

hi my name is Tiffany and im new here! i just turned 25 yesterday and my DH and i have been ttc for 4 months. we have 1 daughter that we had no problem conceiving (on our honeymoon). i am due for my AF tomorrow but im really hoping i dont get it of course, but i kinda feel like i will. i went to my obgyn on Monday and talked to her about my concerns and she perscribed me Clomid and did some blood work. i havent heard back about my blood work yet, but she said no news is good news so im hoping to not hear back at all! we started trying as soon as my DH returned for a year long deployment to Afghanistan in April and i was really hoping for a "deployment trophy" baby. anyway, i hope to learn a bunch of tips for you all!!

just a little update for you all...yesterday my AF was due. it did not come, so i figured this morning to just go a head and take one of my pregnancy tests that i ordered from here. after about 20 seconds i saw that faint little second line appear!!! holy moly!!! im going to retest again in 48 hours and keep my fingers crossed that it still says im pregnant!!! also, im a little concerned because i really felt that i wasnt going to be pregnant this month so i drank an energy drink and 2 caffeinated sodas...this shouldnt be too terrible right?

Congratulations Tiffany! Way to go! I wouldnt worry too much about the caffinated drinks that you had just dont do it again! lol!!!! You should be fine. There are certain amounts of caffeine that you can have...my doc told me to go over 250 ml while ttc so I try to avoid the red bull and stuff that I had gotten used to drinking all the time....but you didnt know then. It matters what you do now. Try not to worry too much about it and enjoy your bfp!!!

AFM: I am in my optimal time frame. I just got my + lh test today which alligns with my charting so I should ovulate as scheduled on Wednesday...so we are going to bd up until Thursday. We have been trying to wait until we got closer to the date to preserve the good sperm but we did bd on Sunday morning. Keeping my fx this month for myself.

I'm going to try to bring this back!
I'm 24, Fiance is 25 (almost 26) we've been trying for 6 or 7 months now off BCP although this was our first month with the OPK. AF is due in about 4 days so FX although I'm pretty sure it's a lost cause. BFN this morning and been feeling normal AF symptoms. GL to all of the above!

I have a question for you ladies. We have been TTC since March. I am on the dot every month with my AF and have been using OPK the whole time but have never been able to catch my ovulation. Now for the first month my AF never came, I am now almost over a week late, my dr did a blood test but everything came back negative. So if this month I never start my af does that mean I will not ovulate? I asked my Dr but didnt get a clear answer from her, I'm still learning and hope someone can help me Smile

I started trying in March also! In June, AF was 13 days late, so AF could still come. It was very frustrating, and I felt like towards the end I was practically jumping up and down just to do something to get AF to start. Where you under a lot of stress this month? It could be that you O'd late so AF will be late.

Not anymore stress then ususal after a BFN lol, well I am already on a late cycle, its 33-34 days, so now that its been more then a week after that I just dont know whats going on. I've had some horrible cramping the whole time, the DR just said maybe your getting ready to start your AF but still nothing. Are you pretty regular now that you have been off BC for a while? Im happy to find someone who has been trying just as long as me Smile and it still could be that I O late, I have had the worst time catching my O, I have been using the little OPK the whole time and never once have a got a test that I for sure knew was positive, I will get a line almost the whole month, but never darker then the other.
