Well, the spring break with dh was good (minus the fact that he had to spend most of last Saturday replacing the alternator in my car Sad. As far as ovulation occurring, I thought it did on the 12th or 13th, just like it was supposed to (which made me one of the happiest women alive!) Until I was at work yesterday and found I was spotting. And I have spent most of the last day and a half having to go potty (sorry, I work in a daycare) every 1-2 hours! The spotting happened just that one time, so I don't know what is going on. I think it happened too late to related to ovulation and it was too early to implantation. The only thing I can figure out is that I have a luteal phase defect and it is too short (which would make sense because I have a hard time keeping my progesterone levels elevated). So, the answer, keep the progesterone up and we might stand a chance. Just don't know if I count yesterday's spotting as day 1 or what to do. As frustrated as I get with not being/getting pregnant, I get just as frustrated with being so abnormal that I can't make heads or tails of what is going on. I have been drinking the Fertilitea, but I'm thinking of adding in the FertilAid supplement and maybe the progesterone cream. AND, if I really want to get serious, my see if the dr will put me back on Metformin for a little bit. We shall see, just trying to do research and see if I can figure this out.

Gina - glad you got the medicine. Good luck with it!

Tanya - I know stress can be a big issue. Hope it gets easier for you soon!

Good luck to all and welcome to laurenbonner

Hi ladies. Gina I'm afraid he is one of those that has no ambition in life so leaving for him isn't going to happen without force!! Crazy anyway, is't also starting to interfer with my marriage since we fight all the time now. Gina I hope it works for you and yes due to the price I hope sooner rather than later. Good luck. Chrissy, I read about a product for PCOS, Inofolic, maybe you should look into that, I'm still researching it. And do you have a ovulation test kit? I'm looking into that to since when I'm suppose to ovulate all the tests are BFN. anyway good luck to all. thinking about you.

Lots of baby dust.

Hello ladies!!! Elizabeth put me in your group, so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Lauren, and my husband and I have been married for almost 9 years. We have a beautiful little girl (2 1/2), and we have been TTC #2 for 10 months. I have been on Clomid for the last 2 cycles; I never realized that I wasn't ovulating until my doc looked at my charts and basically saw that it was between 97.2 and 97.5. Anyhow, I'm SOOOO glad to be a part of your group!! I will take the time to read your previous posts so I can familiarize myself with each of you.

As of right now, I am in my 2WW. I should be able to test next week, but I am one of those who would rather wait to see if af shows her crummy face b/f I test, so I won't do it until a week from today. We will see...no signs or symptoms as of 6dpo, but it's still early yet. Smile

Oh how the frustrations are barreling forward. Finally I get a dr. to give me the clomid. I feel like ok maybe this time this is what we need. I am counting the days waiting my time, and DH comes home last night and wants to well no need to explain that. But I have to say no honey remember we have to wait until next week, reasons why yada yada yada. Low and behold it was a complete blow up. Actually an unexpected one at that because usually he is so calm an understanding about it all and I am the one frazzled!! And I understand his point of view. It has become a job for us, clock watching job. No more fun, no more giggles and laughs..uuugghhh!! But anyways now I am seeing the stress it is causing in our marriage and this is not what I expected at all. I am thinking it is a lost cause, give up and quit the trying, and go back to well "if" it happens it was meant to happen.

By the way welcome Lauren glad to have you in our group. Wishing you all the baby dust you need for next week.

Hey ladies- for those of you getting the clomid, walmart has the generic for $9. Check into it b/c the name brand is expensive (as some of you have found out!). Sad

I'm sorry to hear about the TTC journey playing a role in romance- I'm sort-of in the same boat, but this has happened to us before so we kind-of know how to handle it a little better than last time. You can't restrict bd'ing to just those 4-5 days; you have to make it fun and relaxing all month long; otherwise, it will take longer. It helps to give dh an "incentive" for doing it...use your imagination on that one. Wink

AFM, I'm just waiting. I do have a question, though. My temps for the last 2 days have jumped up to 99.1 and 99.2, which is a good bit above the other post-o temps. It would've been 8 and 9 dpo. Anyone have any thoughts on that? I'm getting an itch to test...

I would say test, but I've too many times when I really thought I was pregnant (and had good reason to think that), but it turned out that I wasn't. The disappointment was not easy to deal with. So, if you do test, try not to be too hopeful (I know, that's almost impossible - I try not to be too hopeful, but always am!)

I agree that it can seem so mechanical when trying get pregnant, but it is important to work together to find ways to make it fun and different. My dh and I will sometimes watch was a romantic movie and snuggle, or go out to eat (to someplace a little nicer than McDondald's Wink - we just try to find ways to let each other know that even in the midst of the stress, frustration, and "work" of it all, we still love each other and have one common goal - a baby! Hopefully, Gina, you and your dh will be able to figure something out to help make things a little more fun - it's not easy, but it's worth it.

Still don't know what's going on, but I have some of the early pregnancy test strips (ones that you can use about a week after ovulating) so will be doing one tomorrow. I'm skeptical, but I guess anything can happen. If the spotting I had last week was the start of a new cycle, (and allowing for a shorter cycle length), then the baby would be due December 20, if we are successful. That happens to be my birthday - what a birthday present that would be! Wink As it is, if I get a positive test tomorrow, then it would be due December 6 - my anniversary! December would certainly be a wonderful month for us!! Wink

Good luck to all!!

Hi, I'm Brittany. I'm 24 years old with a 6 year old daughter. I have a fiance (we plan on marrying very soon) and we are TTC!!! He has no bio children, but has mostly adopted mine. This is our second month trying, and we might have hit the jackpot this time around! My days of ovulation were 3/17-3/18 so they just passed. I've been taking prenatal vitamins for over a month now. I actually used ovulation tests this month, which I haven't before. We "do it" a lot anyway and so I think our chances are pretty good. I've been feeling really tired, constipated, tender breasts...I hope we are pregnant this time! If anyone has any tips to help conceive that would be great.
We don't use lubricant, I have early pregnancy tests from early pregnancy tests.com, I can start testing in as little as 4 days!!!! It took only 2 days for my tests to get here so I was very excited for that. I've been tracking my BBT and today marks the 4th day it's been high which is normal for ovulation.
Also, today I've had jelly-like discharge. What could that mean?

Hi Ladies. Welcome Brittany! I hope that you have all had a good weekend, this long weekend felt just to long for me!! Brittany, i have no definate answer for you about the discharge tho I can maybe say that it might be post ovulation cm. Anyway I hope that this is your lucky month. My 2ww is over now tho I'm to scared to test, just waiting for AF to show up, but she's also starting to run late this month.
