I love the idea of flipping the finger!
3DPO and nothing happening
We so need to sell our house so that we can get our own place down here. Just had a 'house inspection' to make sure we aren't trashing the place I guess? So what happens just as the lady is arriving? The cat comes through the cat door (strange for him in the daytime he prefers to sit at the back door and yowl til I let him in) he has a bird in his mouth! Bugger! So had to chase him out to the back door, thank goodness he didn't let the bird go until he was in the laundry! Managed to usher it outside just as the lady knocked on the front door.

home inspections are to make sure that there is nothing structurally, electrically or what have you wrong with the home. i know here you dont buy a house w/o an inspection. and if the house fails any points, you can ask the seller to deduct the repair costs off the asking price, or fix the issues before purchase, or refuse to make an offer and walk based on inspection.

Honestly my cat is nuts! I keep telling him that if he catches the bird that always poops on my cars wing mirror then he is welcome to bring it in the house!

Currently 4 nearly 5DPO and nothing happening still. I am sufferring from a bout of severe bitchitis... My hubby is doing my head iin with his snoring right this moment. When I was young I couldn't imagine married people not sharing a bed but right now I would love my own room. Have had a headache all day, more likely related to heat and dehydration than impending pregnancy... Am tired, again probably because I can't sleep because of my bloody snoring husband and the fact that it is still fricken 25 degrees celcius at 11pm. Tomorrow I am going to make an effort to drink more water to combat the dehydration headaches, so stay tuned for me reporting increased urination as a new symptom haha I am so predictable!
Right have just put on moods vol 2 in the hopes of some relaxation at least, maybe even a nap...

Yay so much cooler today, has been raining even which was lovely.
I am exhausted still and have had a headache all day again. Just realised that I have been taking ibuprofin instead of paracetamol all week, what a dumbarse! Of course I doubt it would do anything anyway (certainly hasn't done much for my headache) but of course the TTC thing makes me paranoid.
Still no real symptoms! Argh.
Am in bed already and it is only 730 but I figure I should try and sleep while it is cool, and while the hubby is awake and not snoring. Have sent him out to get candy, haha it ia an hour or so round trip what a bad wife I am, suppose I had better put out as a reward.
I love friday and saturday nights, they are the nights that DH gets up to the baby, she usually only wakes at 10:30ish these days but still nice to get to stay in bed and he likes his quiet time with her as well.

The hubby has for a run, I can think of about a million better things to do with my sunday afternoon!
Must 7DPO today, pretty sure AF will be arriving early though have had cramps on and of yesterday and today and have my mandatory pre-menstral pimple coming up - blah! Why is the only part of my cycle that is predictable the part that I don't want at all? (well for at least 40 weeks)
My good friend found out today that her sister in law is pregnant, her and her husband had been trying for two years and were on their second cycle of IVF, the govt only funds two cycles so they would have had to save up for at least a year if this one hadn't worked. I am so excited for them they are such lovely people and will no doubt make fantastic parents.

Hey Davina! Af is due tomorrow, so I guess if she doesn't show up by Monday I might be tempted to, but that blank space where the line should be is so depressing!

The end of the two week wait, sucks. I am 99% sure I'm not pregnant but boy can that 1% be hard to ignore!
Have some symptoms but they are all things that can be logically explained,
feel sick in the morning - duh you are hungry, eat something
Have heartburn - have had heartburn ongoing since last pregnancy!
Tired - need to sleep more than a couple of hours at night
Headaches - see above re sleep!
Grumpy - again see above re sleep, AND this is a standard pms symptom
Honestly I could go on and on. But really I just don't feel pregnant and last time by now I was already really nausious so yep pretty sure I am out!

Have decided that TTC is like being a drug adict to a certain extent, you get the high of expectation and the excitement of waiting for what could be, then you crash and burn when AF arrives, swear you are done and won't bother anymore but then after a couple of days, that anticipation starts to build up again and off you go on the cycle again.

Arghhh - also standard for this time of the month is my inevitable annoyance at the husband for something that would not normally phase me.
He just rang and said that he has told his boss that he will work on Monday, which is a public holiday and I was so looking forward to having 3 whole days together! He also then tells me that he traded the monday to get next friday off as we are going to my home town for the weekend. Normally if you work a public holiday you get time and a half plus a day in lieu, but what does he say 'I volunteered so they don't have to do that' well actually yes they do but what the heck - he volunteered!!!
I highly doubt that many people die wishing they worked more... Would say more family time would be high on the list of what people would change. When I had my daughter I chose to not go back to work so that I could spend time with her, so yip we are not so well off anymore and prob won't be off on any overseas holidays anytime soon, but we get by. Him working extra is of no financial benefit to us so why do it?
I have no idea why I am annoyed about it really, I used to work all the time as well (Ido wonder if the long hours and stressful job impacted on TTC the first time around, because when our management changed and I wasn't so work obsessed boom pregnant without all the timing and temping etc - hmm)

Umm right rant over, I sound like a spoiled little kid!
