Hey Davina, no I don't bbt... I suppose there is always a possibility that I did O late- I am not opk-ing right now... I just assume between CD 14-16 that I would O based on all the months of OPK's to get preggo the first time... my O was always in that window of cycle days.... so wierd. Maybe a bad test & totally time for me to go get a FRER

After I had Lucy my ovulation moved back by nearly 5 days (don't know if that is normal or I was just special...)
Def get a FRER and see what happens. Once again I am excited to check back later!

Re the age gap thing, I soooo hear you on people expressing their opinions on the "perfect gap" I think whatever you end up with you make work and so it is the perfect gap for you. Most people think their gap should be what everyone does though. I had one friend who insisted that my life would be awful if we didn't have a three year gap between children - err what!?
We have 17 months between them and so many people are always saying "oh you will be busy" but I actually find that it isn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be.
the age gap conversation seems to be like the whole pregnancy thing where people feel like they can say whatever they want!

I think it is normal to re-think decisions like more kids etc, especially when you are facing uncertainty about if you might all ready be pregnant, it is one of those things where once you have digested it you are happy with how it works out.

Oh sorry I am rambling!!!! Anyway, good luck.

Ahhh Kiwi! I KNOW about the age gap thing. LOL. Thank you!! Makes me feel better! Smile

OYE! I am so busy! I am going to the store tomorrow to get a HPT. I did a quick internet search, which revealed that an OPK & HPT cannot and SHOULD NOT ever, NEVER, ever be used in place of one another. They test for totally different hormones & opk's are subjective and not always reliable nor accurate anyway, (and have a really high false positive rate?!?!)
SO I am feeling like a moron & will go to the store to get a hpt tomorrow. I have no idea what dpo I would be.... since I am not tracking! Shock All I do know is that I am CD32, no AF.
sigh

Yes & yes. my cycles are normally 28 or 29 days every month. they have been extremely regular even after returning at 2 months postpartum while I was breastfeeding. to now be on CD33 with no AF this is extremely unusual.... I am going to the store today.

wow only getting two months off after bubs is so unfair! I got 5 months respite and only pumped for the first three. Am hoping this time it will be longer since I am BFing.
You better go to the store the suspense is killing me!

So I am waiting for the little bub to wake from his nap & off to the store we trot. In the meantime.... I was obssessively counting days of my cycles... noticed I have had a few cycles lasting 30 days. The only other cycle I got to 33 days a few months ago, I got a very faint bfp on a hpt, then started bleeding later that day. Potential chemical is what I'm thinking.

Got a frer, appears to be bfn. Puzzled confused & bewildered. I mean, I am ok with whatever... just wondering what's the deal with my cycle. Hope is not going all crazy on me right before ttc #2.... ohhh well. What shall be shall be. Wink

you never know CC, I had pretty regular cycles for 3 months then they went crazy, I attribute it to when I stopped breast feeding which is strange because you'd think BF would make your cycles longer but it seemed to regulate them for me. I nursed for a year and got my period back at month 5 Stare ANyways welcome to the wonky cycle club lol!!

CD35. The more I think about it, the more I worry. Silly right??
Whyyyy would I ovulate on/around CD30? If I did indeed O on cd30 (the positive opk!), then, I am certainly in a tww now... I am 5dpo...
DH & I were not 'careful' at all, cuz we assumed af was coming. What shall be shall be.... BUT....
I am just wondering now...1. When do I start poas w/a hpt?
2. When do I call my obgyn? 3. Is this really a problem or an imagined one?
