It's been a while since I've written!

No reason really, just got a bit busy with work etc and I don't have too much to write since I'm still in waiting to ttc portion of my life lol!

My DH is officially off his arthritis meds, he's sore already so we're hoping to start trying a bit earlier than expected so he can get back on the meds, maybe January/February instead of March/April but we'll see!

I've been kind of mad at myself because I've been looking so forward to ttc again that I'm missing the moment I'm in. I need to stop staring forward and start looking around at where I'm at right now, because it's a pretty great place! I have a beautiful daughter who is getting funnier every day. I have the IDEAL job, 2 days a week teaching where I want to be working. I have so many things coming up this Christmas season to enjoy that I just need to ENJOY and not skip over because of my excitement about expanding our family! This past year has just flown by and I don't want to miss any moments!!

That's my rant at myself for the day Tongue

Ella was doing so good a sleeping the past few months 7-7 very consistently. Now the past 5 nights she's been waking up somewhere between 2 and 5 am and having a little party. I end up giving her a bottle to get her back to sleep, but I'm worried she's going to get in the habit of wanting a bottle in the middle of the night! Also, she's been getting pretty nasty diaper rash, I feel bad for her! We do naked time to air it out, soak it and lots of cream....any other pointers?? What about for dry skin. especially on the cheeks? My poor baby is just getting attacked by winter Sad

Do you think she might be getting her molars? My DD started night waking and also got a little bit of nappy rash when she was getting hers. Also sometimes the around 5am wake up can be when the temp suddenly drops and they wake because they are a bit cold - although you guys generally have warm houses there so that might not be an issue.
I have always given her a bottle if she wakes in the night (she hardly ever does unless she is sick) it makes it easier to get her back to sleep and she has always gone back to her normal 12 hour sleeps once she is over the illness or the teeth have popped through.

poor Ella, she's been so sick the last 3-4 days, high fever and cold symptoms (continuing from weeks ago). She's on antibiotics now and the fever has finally gone down, she actually ate today and played a bit so I'm happy. I hate having a sick baby Sad

Just found out yesterday that my girlfriend had a m/c over the weekend, she was 5 weeks and just found out last weekend she was pregnant. I feel so bad for her, but she's strong and knows it happens for a reason. She can try again in January. This is my second friend in 2 months that's miscarried. Puzzled

I can't believe it's almost December, this year has just gone SO fast!! DH is taking Friday off and I'm so excited to have a family day of shopping for christmas gifts!

Hope Ella is well soon!

I did the same thing CC, I was just focused too much on the future!

Poor Ella, has sixth disease, she's in the rash stage now, no fever. She's napping now. I can't bring her to daycare because she could be contagious. Thank god my co-teacher is flexible and can switch days with me! And thank god for a husband who owns his own business so he can take 2 days to watch Ella at home Smile

Unfortunately it ruins our Friday plans which were to have a family day but what can you do when your little one is sick!

well, DH's arthritis is pretty bad so we are not exactly trying, but we're not, not trying if that makes sense. I have not gone on BC for years and we've always used pull and pray, so now we are just doing whatever and we'll see what happens. The other day we didn't 'pull and pray' but that was just once and I don't think I ovulate till this week so we'll see I guess! I'm ready in a way to get pregnant again, but I could wait too so I'm good with the wait and see outlook for now. If DH is in lots of pain we may try harder next month. I'm starting to see pregnancy all around again, and I know of 3 friends actively trying to conceive again, so it would be fun to have pregnancy buddies again. Last pregnancy 4 of us were preggers together.....I guess we'll see what happens! Wink

Good plan for just seeing what happens for now. Things will work out how they are supposed to. I hope he does ok off his meds for a while. I can imagine that adding more stress to the TTC journey! Hope Ella is starting to feel better! My munchkin has been illness free for 3 whole weeks which is amazing considering pretty much every child we know has had rotavirus (am so getting Blake immunised against it, didn't know you could with Lucy until she was too old to be able to get it)

grrr...I can't do it, I just can't do the we'll see what happens. I get way too stressed and can't stop thinking about it, I either have to be ttc or actively not ttc, I can't do this sometimes we pull out sometimes we don't. My cycle is so wonky that I don't know when I ovulate at all. My last few cycles have been: 32 days, 29 days, 33 days, 48 days and 41 days. It drives me nuts! I have NO idea when I ovulate, and for some reason opk's don't work for me, it either never darkens or it says I'm ovulating for weeks.

I now have weird period like cramps and I"m not 'due' for my period until Christmas, according to my period tracker I'm ovulating this weekend, but that's averaging a 41 day cycle, and who knows what my cycle will actually be this month. We are having company this weekend and we're supposed to be making margarita's and all that, so should I not drink on the off chance that I had a regular cycle and BD'd once at the right time. Or do I assume it's like every other month and I'm just being paranoid?? I don't want to mention any of this to our company because 2 of the ladies recently had miscarriages and I want to keep the weekend upbeat and not talk about ttc. and so I vent on here to whoever happens to read this, hoping for a little perspective!

Kiwi-the rotovirus immunization is easy! Here it's an oral vaccine with no side effects, is it the same there? It's called Rototech or something like that!

OPKs never worked for me either! I thought I was just special. Since having Lucy my cycle went all over the show. I was always really regular and then once AF came back I never had 2 the same length! I think I only had 3 or 4 before getting pregnant again though so who knows what will happen this time!
If you are worried about being pregnant and drinking I would just POAS sat morning and see what happens. How many DPO would you possibly be by then (clearly you aren't sure but would it possibly be enough for a BFP if you were? Otherwise I would just eat, drink and be merry with your friends and what will be will be.
I'm not sure if it is an oral one or a jab actually, will have to ask when I call to arrange his first lot of shots (arghh I hate taking them for shots!)
