For those of you that are charting or keeping a journal, what do you  focus on to make sure you are taking full advantage Smile of your most fertile days?

I do chart but with 2 kiddos I am not always still in the early morning.  So because of that my temps are often all over the place.  I know that for me my CM (cervical mucous )is most reliable, but I have had luck with OPK (ovulating predictor kits) as well.

What do you do?

This is the first month I used the BBT method, in conjuction with CM, CV position, as well as an OPT and other body symptoms like pain, BD drive, etc. Last month I relied on the OPT as well as trying to read CM, and tried to figure out the CV stuff, but got really confused. I used the BBT to basically align all my other symptoms and make sure everything is working so to speak. Last month was a really odd cycle I'm learning and this month seems to be "textbook". Glasses Also by checking my CV position a few days before OV up until just after OV I really was able to figure that out too. It really changed, but not until the day before I OV'd. CM is reliable for me only that it changes but I rarely get EGCM, just watery. Temping can be difficult and confusing. I was so confused that I might be doing it wrong.. but now I am just continuing what i am doing and a pattern is laying out. If I am PG, I think I implanted at 5DPO because my temp dipped pretty low (almost to coverline) and is now back up, in fact higher than before into the 98's. My coverline is just about 97.1 so I started pretty low. Its pretty exciting now to see it, esp. since its starting to look tri-phasic. Smile

This is my first month doing any kind of fertility charting. I am tracking my BBT and using a store-bought OPK (before I found this website), which allowed me to test every day of my cycle. This month, I got my positive OPK on CD19 and my BBT spike on CD22, and from what I've read, that's pretty "textbook." I'm 4DPO now and anxiously waiting to take an AHPT.
