What is the Fertility Wonder Grain?

The answer is millet according to fertility educator Julia Indichova. Millet is a gluten free whole grain that does wonders for keeping insulin and blood sugar levels in check. This is critical in order to keep hormone levels balanced and your body fertility ready!

Many people love the taste of this semi-sweet, nutty flavored grain and it is a common staple all over the world. It is full of fiber, B complex vitamins, amino acids and vitamin E. It is also rich in iron, magnesium, phosphorous and potassium.

If you are interested in trying a millet recipe, you may want to try a black bean and millet salad or a millet muffin. You can find the recipes for these at http://chetday.com/millet.html.

One word of caution however, if you have problems with your thyroid, you will want to talk with your doctor about your millet consumption levels. The millet may contain a compound that wreaks havoc with the production of thyroid hormones.
