Are you thinking about trying to conceive, but had your tubes tied or cut in the past?
Fortunately there are a couple of options for you. If you talk with your doctor, he/she will most likely tell you that the first step is to have your tubes reconnected using a surgery called anastomosis. Doctors say that after a reconnection surgery that the success rates for pregnancy are as high as 60%! Another option is to use medical assistance such as In-Vitro Fertilization. And although the success rates are typically not as high using IVF, many couples have found this to be the best option for them based on the condition of their tubes after their original sterilization procedure.
Either way, check with your doctor and insurance agency to decide which is the best option for you, and whether or not the procedure is covered under your plan

I had my tubes repaired by a wonderful doctor in Kentucky. His name is Dr. Richard Levin and you can find out all about him on his website which is www.babies-by-levin.com. I had the surgery in April and became pregnant in late May. Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in an early miscarriage but my husband and I just found out we are pregnant again and this time our hcg and progesterone numbers look very promising! I would highly recommend Dr. Levin.
