If you have been TTC (trying to conceive) for awhile, you have probably found that there are some months or weeks or days or hours that are more stressful than others. At times, trying to get pregnant can be all consuming and also completely frustrating and emotionally depleting.

The reason for why this meditation/breathing exercise is so powerful for women who are TTC is twofold. One reason is because it is important to be able to take a break from the stress associated with fertility and to let your body truly relax. Secondly, scientists have found that the color violet actually stimulates the activity in the female reproductive area.
For the best results, many suggest practicing this particular meditation technique in front of a window or outside so that you can feel the sunlight on your body as well.
