Hey girls.. Ok so I will share the story of "How we met..." I was in college and so was DH BUT I lived in AZ and DH lived in Puerto Rico... well one night I should have been studing or sleeping because I had a test in the morning... but nope this crazy girl was on xbox live playing Halo 2... after a game of Capture the flag I seemed to have impressed two guys on the other team (I managed to sneak in and steal their flag twice) so we got to talking. Jose and I started out as friends.. this was Nov of 04 (Our oldest Dakottah was 1). December this crazy kid decides he's going to fly to met me. So in Jan 05 he flew to the states and instantly we knew we were going to get married. Dakottah took to him instatly. It was so wonderful! So in Jun (after we finished our semseter of college) he moved to the states with me & Kody. In September 05 we got married, and in Oct 05 we concieved our 2nd daughter Makenzie. In Jan 06 we moved to PR. She was born in July. September girls & I moved to Az & DH went to basic. In Feb 07 DH was in AIT. Girls and I went to see him for a weekend and we concieved Makayla, who was born in Nov 07.

Marie.. any news? I see your ticker says 1 day until testing! Sending lost of hopes and wishes your way!

Allie.. that's so cool. One of my bestfriends lives in IL and she has never dated a white boy. She has always dated hispanic men, and none of them have been legal.. so we pick on her (in a loving way)... everyone thinks a country girl is going to marry a country boy! but neither of us did! Wink

Janye.. here's hoping you got the egg! I'm testing Friday the 12th! Help me stay saine untill then and not test early! I am horrible and will test a million times! Sad

Here's hoping our BD'n pays off.. because I'm tired! LOL I have also had light achey feelings for the past two days.. but not sure if it's Ovulation issues or maybe a little cervix trama...

Hey Everyone,

Its been a crazy week so far so I haven't had time to post. But I finally got my positive OPK on Sunday afternoon, so I was very relieved! I am going to be entering the 2WW and this is usually the time I start driving myself crazy with analyzing every little "symptom" I feel!

Katy - I usually get sore breasts for about a week before AF, and they sometimes feel all little swollen, but not usually until after I ovulate. Everyone is different (obviously!) so I'm sure that can be an ovulation symptom. I will be able to test around the 12th too since I usually start AF about 12 days after I ovulate and I probably ovulated yesterday. I have learned to just wait until AF is late though. I get so bummed when I get the BFN that I decided its not worth it. The one time we did get preg back in Nov, I was four days late before I showed positive, but my hormone levels never got very high, probably because there was something wrong from the beginning. I guess what I had was probably a chemical pregnancy, so it is still technically a m/c but I think likely not quite as emotionally traumatic. I hope you do get your BFP though if you decide to test, because that would be really exciting for your retreat!

Shannon - how are things going for you? I have to tell you a funny story. I saw a commercial the other day for Mucinex and a light bulb went off. I realized it is basically a mucus thinner. For whatever reason I kept thinking of Metamucil when you were talking about it and I was thinking, how is that going to work? It seems like it would have some other effects... LOL, but now I realize I was thinking of the wrong stuff! Laughing out loud

The last few days have been bad with my migraines, and I'm still not feeling super great. I had to have a cavity filled today, no fun! So I will keep this short. I will try to post again soon!

Janye - The Metamucil thing is really cute! Just check out the Pregnancy Category of anything you take. I'm sorry to hear about the dental visit. Those always suck. But it is s good thing to have regular dental visits when pregnant. Kids do a number on your teeth! During pregnancy my teeth always feel like chalk. It really sucks! On a happier note.. we are both going to test on the 12th and get our BFP together!

I'm anxious to hear from Marie... she's MIA..

AFM.. my breasts are still swollen, not tender at all... and my CM dried up fast... but I read that it's a typical thing. I am just try'n to keep busy untill I can test... but it's hard being at home all day with not much todo but play on the computer (in my lil free time) and read EVERYTHING I can about the 2ww! I wish the weather was better so the girls and I could go play outside and get me away from this craziness! LOL
Well... I guess I should head to bed...

Hey ladies! I am back after a day of a sort of pity party...I was bummed but feel much better. I got a call from my ob yesterday and after I went in for follow up ultrasound Monday he said my uterine lining was 5.3mm on CD19. Just a lil history I had my tubal ligation after giving birth during my c-sec in '00, then in '04 I had the Novasure which is where they use a balloon/salin solution to burn the uterine lining to slow down my heavy irregular periods but it didn't take 100%..so here I am now. I go to my fertility doc 2morrow to discuss estrogen therapy to help build lining & to also do a follow up hsg to make sure there is no scar tissue from my tubal reversal..so this is a minor setback but I will have to let go & let God.

Jayne how funny..when u have so many things on your mind sometimes things just don't register..I did take the Mucinex but I don't think I even ovulated this month due to the meds given to start my cycle after the surgery. But I am gonna try next cycle..u only take them after you stop bleeding up until you ovulate & the day of.

Katy waiting is the worst..I just knew I was preggers all the BD'g we were doing..but I know there is no baby in there now..so let's just say I have missed 3 days of the challenge..but FI & I are tired..it's getting closer to the wedding & all that. Don't stress..praying you get your BFP!

Marie..where ya at????

ok yall have a blessed day!

I need my computer and bank card take'n away! LOL I found some more sales on materinty clothes! LOL

Marie sweetie.. where are you hiding?
Shannon.. keep us updated on your progress.
Janye.. I hear ya on the migrains. I'm trying to stay functional for the girls.. but I really don't want to do much with them or house work. I feel horrible, but nothing is really helping with the irritation right now.

AFM.. I'm so frusterated.. I still have a week before AF should show up (if my cycle stays 23 days)... but today when I went to check cervical position it was gone! LOL I can't reach the darn thing! Ugh.. I wish I knew already! LOL

Hey everybody...

Katy not that much longer but if it's killing you go ahead & test. I have read where girls tested at least 8 of the 2ww!!! FX!!!!

So fertility doc agrees w/ob about the hsg so they are starting me on progesterone because as suspected I didn't even ovulate this month!!! at least Brian is Big smile ..lol!! When I start my next cycle I go for the hsg and then he is thinking I will do Clomid & some estrogen. Some minor setbacks but that is fine. It will give us a chance to transition to husband & wife while we try although we have been living together for 3 yrs.

Hope you ladies are having a good one!

Hey Shannon, I just saw another post of yours and I wanted to tell you, one of my closest friends recently had a tubal reversal (June of 09) and she's due in 4 1/2 weeks! Her and her hubby couldn't make up their minds. They had two kids (boy & girl) so he got clipped... 3 years later they wanted another one so he got a reversal. Just before her c-section they asked if she wanted her tubes tied and she said yes. 4 years later she wished she had never done it.. they are expecting their 3rd son, 4th child! Once they were given the OK to get pregnanty.. she pretty much did!
I'm just hoping to get pregnant before she pops!

Well not much new here. So sorry to hear about your set backs Shannon, but it sounds like you have a good outlook on it. After my DH and I got married people kept saying "so hows married life?" but it never really seemed any different so I never knew what to say since we had already been together four years and living together for two! Its like, um I guess now we have a piece of paper! LOL But I'm happy we're married. Are you having a big wedding?

Katy - I'm sorry the waiting is killing you! I know the feeling. Luckily for me work has been SO busy and stressful that I'm hardly even thinking about it. But then I worry that because I'm pretty stressed that it might affect things. Are you having any "symptoms" yet? Smile I've had some little crampy twinges, migraines like crazy and slight achy BBS, but those are all things I've had before that mean nothing, so I'm trying not to read into them too much!

I saw my mom last night who asked if we were pg yet. I said no and she was like "really?! I was totally convinced it was going to happen in February." I think she is trying to be supportive, but it was really not helpful. It made me feel like I was disappointing her or something and believe me we're trying as hard as we can! Wink Then she told me how when they got preg with me, the doctor told my mom they didn't think she could have kids and bam, two weeks later she was pregnant. Um yeah, thanks mom. I guess she just can't relate to what I'm going through. Then she asked if we had done any fertility testing etc yet and I'm trying so hard to normalize that its still been less then a year that we've been trying and that according to all the stats is possibly meaningless. In terms of that we still might both have normal fertility and it just hasn't happened. Anyway, then today my cousin called me today and told me I needed to get Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I've been considering getting it anyway, but again, I think people are trying to be supportive, but it ends up making me feel like there's something wrong with me. It made me wish we still hadn't told anyone we were TTC.

Whew, anyway I'm glad tomorrow's Friday!! Anyone have any fun plans for the weekend?

Janye, I'm sorry no one gets what you are going through. NO ONE in our families know we are trying for another one! My family would be ok, but his would/will be upset! They told us no more babies after our 2nd daughter was born... so when I got pregnant with Kayla 7 months later DH didn't tell his family till I was 7 months along! It was so bad. Just remind yourself that they don't understand everything that goes into getting pregnant, or the fact that everything has to line up perfectly. And you WILL get pregnant in YOUR time.. not theirs!
Keep your head up.

Not really feeling anything as of yet. bbs swelling went away.. so atleast my bra's fit now! LOL I have had a few twinges today, and some really low back pain tonight, but it's gone away. I have a migrain.. have had one starting all day.. but I'm really starting to feel it coming on now.. but I'm not sure it means much of anything. I'll wait 1 more week to test! LOL We can test together!
