He ya'll.. anyone use the OPK from Early-pregnancy-tests.com? I have been doing them for the past few days and just finally got the faintest line in the world. I waited the full 10 mins like it says... and like I said it was the faintest line in the world! UGH.. now I am frusterated! LOL
Ok.. I just had to have a quick vent. Back to homeschooling! LOL I need to get the girls started on math!
babydust to ya'll..

Im using them. The first day I got no line, the second day, a faint second line, and the third day a very prominent line. Before I ordered them, I did read the reviews. A lot of people said that they were hard to read, and the lines often came across faint. HOWEVER, the reason I ordered them was because of the huge success rate people were having.
How long have you been using them?

I don't use the OPKs from here, but when I use them I get sort of a fade in pattern, so it does get darker and darker until it is visably darker than the control line and that's when it is positive. But its nice because then you know you are getting close and to BD even a day before its positive. Although obviously that theory hasn't worked so far Big smile so I might not know what I'm talking about!

Marie, Yes Dopamax! I lovingly call it that too. It definately made me feel a little s...l...o...w. So its nice to have a break from that, though that did get better with time. Interesting that you mention your doc used it for sleep because my sleeping has been horrible since I've been off of it. I think I'm finally getting into a normal rhythm again, but for awhile I would wake up several times a night. I wonder if it was helping me with that too and I didn't even realize it.

Shannon, I'm sure you're doing great. I wouldn't worry if you do miss a day. I'm just impressed with your dedication! I've been really sick all week with a bad cold so we haven't done anything this cycle! But I'm starting to feel better hopefully just in time for my O, but then I think since I've been sick I hope I don't O late!

Lots of baby dust to everyone!

Jayne,

I dont know if this is an option for you but when i was trying to get off of my sleeping medications the dr mentioned a few hints. First, if its possible she said to re arrange your furniture in your bedroom. Sometimes the break in pattern can be helpful. Also, to only use your room for sleeping (an BD-ing). No reading or watching tv. Then at least a half an hour befoee bed start to calm down. Maybe drink some tea and just relax!

I am still doing the challenge and still have only missed one day so I am happy...a lil tired but happy..lol!!!

I have been taking Mucinex (maximum strength) but don't see any increase in CM or any for that matter..maybe I am a late ovulator???? Also increasing water intake..my BACK HAS BEEN KILLING ME!!! I am talking about real bad back pains..hope I haven't thrown it out with all that BD'ng...anybody else using Mucinex or have used it?

Shannon, I was worried about homeschooling but a friend talked me into it last year, and it's been good. You don't have to worry about teaching Math or science.. they books do it all for you and the good programs come with teaching aids for the parents. We use "Math U See" and the guy does it all for you. They kids watch a 15 min DVD once a week, and he shows them everything. For science we use "God's Design" from Answers in Gen. It's a wonderful Christian programs and it's created to teach several grades at once. So I will be able to teach my 2nd grader and my Kindergardner at the same time. They have several books and beings you use the same program for k-6th grade you only buy 1 book and use it over and over. Homeschooling is only as expensive as you want it to be! You could actually homeschool competely online and never pay a dime. Most states also have a homeschool program online provided by the public school system, but using that option (though it's free) you don't get to teach what YOU want to teach.. so I don't use it. I want to teach a Christan program as much as possible Next year I will be starting Devotions with the girls in the morning.

Ok... enough rambling about my views and love for home schooling (trust me I don't judge those who don't or can't.. its just what works for us in this time in our life.. if my husband wasn't in the Army I know I wouldn't be able to do it)...

I have a QUESTION!!! I have never had this lite pinkish brown spotting before.. my cycles aren't regular and I have only been off of the IUD for 2 whole months.. so how do you tell it's it's implantaion spotting (maybe I ovulated early & that's why I'm not getting a pos OPK?) or if it's ovulation spotting!! I so confussed.. also.. if it's ovulation spotting, does it happen before or after you ovulate! I'm so frusterated and confussed. We BD yesterday when he got off of work, but I had to cook dinner shortly after so I didn't get a chance to really lay down for a while, and then come bed time he was passed out (had a hard PT yesterday) so we didn't get to do anything last night Sad
So I don't know... to make things more difficult, AF is suppose to come the same weekend we are going on a Military sponsored Marriage retreat... but the girls are comming with us so we wouldn't get to do anything any ways.. it would be cool to get a BFP while we are there... it would blow my mind! LOL alright.. I need to go. It's payday there for it's errand day...
Lots of baby dust and prayers ya'lls way...

To me being able to teach a Christian curriculum is wonderful! My parents had us in our church's private school all the way up to 6th grade & it was good!!! The marriage retreat sounds wonderful...not sure about the spotting though..hmm maybe could be implantation bleeding??? I honestly never paid attention to any of these things before we started ttc'ng..praying it could lead to a BFP!!!!

I think it's ovulation spotting because my OPK showed a slightly darker line today.. still faint but not a light as yesterdays... so bd'n all weekend! LOL

So.. I guess you know you are baby obsessed when you open your glove box to get stamps and find a pregnancy test on top! LOL To make things worse, I found out this morning one of my cousins is expecting her 3rd, so I went to buy her and another cousin who is due in two weeks with her 2nd (we tend to have babies in groups) at motherhood and $90 later I walked out.. but I didn't buy anything for them! I picked myself up some shirts! LOL

Well I must be off. We ditched schooling today to go shopping so I must be getting back to business...
sending good thoughts ya'lls way.. and lots of prayers too!

Katy-

I saw that you mentioned that you didnt get to lay down for a while after BD. Is that something that works? I do it myself but I wasnt sure if it really did anything, or if it was a wives tale?

Ok.. this is going to be a little TMI.. but if you think about the times that you have done it and then gone to do something.. work, cook, clean.. you end up dripping (right?) Gravity does play a part in it all. Studies suggest that most women who concieve (when not activing trying) concieve when the BD is done just before bedtime, because we lay down to sleep gravity doesn't work against us.

I will say.. I know when I conceived my 2nd child we did the BD then fell asleep... I know the night because it was the only night in 3 weeks we had together..
But with our 3rd daugther, like I said before.. it was while I was visiting him at AIT.. I had a hotel on post, but after we did it, I had to take him back to the barracks.. so I was up with 2 kids, and active.. so it's not required,...
but.. if you can help "mother-nature" do the trick.. it doesn't hurt! LOL
