Hi there,

My name is Marie. I am 29 years old, and just started actively TTC. I have been married a year and a half and we live just outside of Denver Colorado. My husband is a police officer and I am a 911 dispatcher, both in different cities.
We have talked about TTC for a while. My husband is 37 so he has been more ready than I am until recently. In the past, we both decided to "see what happens". Meaning, no birth control of any sort and if it happens it happens. Now, we have just recently decided the time is right and we are both very excited. I started using an ovulation predictor kit. I just had my first positive ovulation sticks this past week, so we definitely tried! Smile
Im really glad to have a buddy to talk to during all this. I look forward to sharing and getting to know you better! Smile

Hello, My name is Shannon. I found this site recently and wanted to say hi. Just a little bit bout me. I am 36 & just had a tubal reversal in Jan after having my tubal ligation about 10 yrs ago. My 1st husband passed away..I have found love again & will be gettting married April 10. We want a child together..his daughter is 5, my daughters are 17,15 & 9. I never had problems conceiving but we are hoping for a boy! I decided to get the reversal and it was done by a fertility doctor who has given us the green light to resume our normal activities. I was given meds to start my cycle this month..so I am new to charting, etc...not looking for a BFP asap but soon..lol!! I had an HSG done to make sure my tubes were open..it was good..I never had problems conceiving before tl...was told not any now so we will see.. I look forward to cheering you ladies on to your BFP!!!! Shannon

Hi Ladies,

I'm excited to be able to have a little more support and provide some too as we are on this journey! I'm Jayne, I'm 30 and my husband is 36. We got married last April so we will be celebrating a year pretty soon! I can't believe it has already been that long! Anyway we have actually been together for almost five years now so we started TTC for our first baby for both of back in June. I get frequent migraines so I've been on a medication called Topamax to help prevent them, but even on the medication I still get them at least once a week. I had to get off my medication to start TTC though because it can cause birth defects. I definately have good and bad days being off of it but I think the hardest thing is I feel this pressure to concieve since I want to get pregnant, through the pregnancy and back on the medication quickly. So the fact that we've already been trying nine months has been a little surprising and disappointing for me. We had a miscarriage in November 09 at only 4 1/2 weeks. I have been using ovulation predictor kits since the beginning, but I don't do basal body temp. I'm thinking maybe I need to start doing that too. Anyway, that's a little about me, I look forward to hearing more about each of you!

Hi, i am excited to join this group, I have been married 2 1/2 years, I am 26 years old and my husband is 25. Last June I had a miscarrage, (well I guess not technically a miscarrage I was at 23 weeks and I had what they call a placental abruption, where the placenta seperates from the utero wall. So the baby was born alive, but only lived for about 10 minutes. Alejando Marrufo Ebersole was his name.) I had had an ultrasound a little less than a month before that and they told me that everything was fine. They said that the placenta seperating is not visable on the ultrasound. We had been TTC for about a year before I got pregnant. Two months ago we started trying again, I am nervous because they said that there is a 20 - 30 % chance that the same thing could happen in any future pregnancy, and that there is no way to prevent it or even know what caused it in my case.
I am looking forward to getting to know you all better and that we will all have cause to celebrate BFP very soon!!

Hi Jayne & Allie *waves* Jayne I just got some more of the Answer op kits so we will see what happens. I am on a wedding forum board & they are doing a hubby/SO 30 day challenge, you have to have sex or some type of sexual contact that will bring him to an orgasm EVERY DAY! We started on today 2/21...so for 30 days I shall be a busy girl...hehe... He doesn't know about the challenge, just thinks I am being extra nice!!! Ok ladies I am at work..just wanted to check in. Have a great Sunday!!!

Well HI. Sorry I didn't get a chance to introduce my self sooner. It's been a busy week.
My name is Katy and I'm 26 years old. Jose(25) and I have been married for 4 1/2 years, and we have 3 wonderful daughters ages 6, 3 & 2. My husband is active duty Army & we are stationed at Ft Carson CO. We are gearing up for our first deployment in Sept. We would like to conceive before he leaves, but we aren't going to really go at it untill May. If it happens before than, that's ok too. We have never "tried" to convieve before. We just got pregnant with all of our girls. So this is new to us. I don't want the pressure to get to use, but I know as the months tick down before he leaves, it will.
Good luck to everyone, and i'm excited to walk this path with you girls.
