The Power of Sunlight

Many men who are struggling with fertility have low levels of vitamin D according to a recent study conducted by Australian scientists.

Dr. Anne Clark, a fertility specialist and medical director at Fertility First, analyzed the semen of 800 men who were experiencing fertility issues. What she found was that over one third of the men were vitamin D deficient.

There have been many studies linking female infertility to vitamin D and folic deficiencies, but Dr. Clark was surprised to see the link with men as well!

So, make sure you are outside enjoying those sunny days to take advantage of the vitamin D that the sun provides us. It may very well be the way to ensure that you will be able to become pregnant!
