YAY!!! I a loving the whole idea of this buddy thing!!!! I don't believe I know much about you; But I will fill you in on me alittle!

I am a mom of 2 and trying for #3. We have been trying for about 2 months now. My AF was due last Sunday/ Monday and still no show! I have tested and still got BFN! It is frustrating and I am considering trying a new brand (I currently use the tests from this site and am hearing that they aren't the best) I have decided to give it till Monday before I call my DR to check it all out.

So please, tell me about yourself and your story! I am excited to have someone 1 on 1 to share with!

Hey Love n Life, I'm excited to be your buddy Smile!

I'm 28, trying for #1, this is our 7th month TTC. I just O'd a couple of days ago and we BDd a number of times in the fertile days, but I got a pretty bad cold (with some fever) at the same time, so I don't have very high hopes for this month.
When we started we were both trying to be very laid back about the whole thing, but then every month a new trick was added to the list of things I do to improve the chances, and now I'm pretty much doing it all excpet for BBT charting: OPKs, sofcups, Fertilaid, Robitussin, full fat dairy, etc...
The one thing that has helped me stay sane the most throughout the TTC craziness is dancing- my DH and I do it as a hobby but pretty seriously, and we perform/compete a few times a year, so whenever I get AF again I think, ok, that means one more dance gig Smile.

I've had the late AF/ BFN thing happen to me a couple times and it's so maddening. If I have to choose the one most frustrating thing about TTC it would be that- I hate the uncertainity of it, and the days drag on so slowly. I hope you find out soon, either way- hopefully the BFP way Smile!
That's awesome that you're already a mommy of 2! I want a big family too- obviously we have a ways to go Smile. How old are your kids?

Wow see we just started so we aren't that into everything yet; we are still in the "laid back" mode! lol That is great about the dancing I love watching ballroom dancing! Well AF showed up about a half hour ago now Sad( I called my husband to tell him and he was a little dissapointed but replied sweetly with "Well at least now we know what is going on and we can start trying again when its gone!!!"
It's funny I never really thought of myself with kids but then I had my first daughter and everything changed! lol I was 18 (I started early!) when I had her and did it on my own for just about 2 years. I met my husband when she was just about 2. Once we moved in together we knew we wanted more (He is the only dad she had known) but wanted to wait to get married. Well 4 days after he proposed I found out we were pregnant! lol We thought we would be done after that but I still feel like there is more for me to give in terms of parenting! My girls are now 7 and 3 years old. I want to go through the whole planning it out since both weren't planned at all, I think the process will make it a great bonding experience for DH and myself! Wow, lol there is my whole history of children!

Hi Love'n'Life,

I'm sorry it ended up being AF! That sucks Sad But if you're like me, it must be a bit of a relief to at least know for certain, now you can prepare for a new month of BDing Wink.
Wow, so it's actually your first time TTC? That's so romantic, finding out you were pregnant right after he proposed.... I'm sure it will happen for you again soon, sounds like you're still in your prime time fertility-wise. I hope we can both graduate to pregnancy pals before Christmas!

I'm 5DPO now so not much is going on, other than crossing my fingers Smile.

Here's baby dust for your new cycle *************************!

Hey Love'n'Life,

I hope your AF is gone and the BDing can start soon Wink!

I started spotting today, which I think is AF coming soon. It was like this last month too. I'm a bit worried that I always start spotting so soon after my O date (today I'm 7DPO). I wonder if that may be why we're not getting pregnant- this was our 7th month. One more chance to get pregnant by Christmas...

How're you doing?

AF is finally gone (as of yesterday!) We are starting tomorrow! Things have been going ok here just the normal stress of work, kids, and life! lol sorry I don't get on here much lately, I just haven't had the time to access the computer lately.

Do you think there is something to you spotting so soon after?! Have you spoken with a doctor about your ttc journey? That may bring some answers... I wish I knew the answer but I am definitely wondering about it now!!!

This is it, One last chance before Christmas! FX

Hiya ladies! Thanks for letting me in your group...

I'm 33 years old, and this is our 6 month TTC. I got off of birth control 7 months ago, and am finally starting to notice my body coming back to normal (in terms of CM i mean). So I really feel like it could be this month or next month that it happens! I am not stressing about it right now though, partly because I have grad school finals to stress about (today) and we leave for our honeymoon in belize in two days! I am expecting an LH surge today, but because I've been so stressed, sometimes that postpones my cycle. I am kind of hoping it does so that we can be relaxed and BDing during O on the honeymoon!

Love-n-Live - so you are in your 20's? I bet you and bluegirl will be moving to PG pals soon here!

Bluegirl - What kind of dance do you do? I was a dancer throughout college and when I lived in Manhattan I took classes at Broadway Dance Center. Mainly ballet, and hiphop.. sometimes Jazz. I was never very good at ballroom though!! I miss it. Maybe after school is finished I can start back...

Thanks again for being my buddies!

Hey Lauren, whoohoo, we have a third buddy, and a dancer no less Wink!
Congrats on finishing your grad school? What do (did) you study? I'm also in grad school, but will take about another year- can't wait to be done though Smile.
I do mostly salsa and latin ballroom, but I love ballet too, although I'm not good at all. This year I've been making an effort to go to ballet classes consistently (at least once a week) and slowly it seems to make a difference- I can touch my toes now Wink.

Love'n'Life, don't worry, I'm not online all day either. Weekdays I come check posts everyday, but I don't have internet at home, so I'm more scarce over the weekends.
Happy BDing for you Wink! FXFX for Christmas!

I'm 28 and we've been trying for 7 months. I think I've just figured out what might be wrong with me: I seem to have a very short luteal phase (I ovulate and a week later, I get my period, so the egg has no time to implant). Internet says that this is a common and treatable kind of fertility issue, so I made an appointment today to get a referral to get it checked out. In the meantime I'll try the natural remedies, vitamin B6 and progesterone cream, just so I can feel like I'm doing something. Still one chance for the best possible Christmas present (if I managed to get pg this month, I'd actually find out on Christmas morning- how cool would that be!).
