The Importance of Vitamin B

In a recent study done by scientists at The University of Nottingham, researchers found a link between adult health problems and the health of their mothers at conception.

More specifically, mothers who are lacking in B vitamins when they become pregnant have the chance of chemically modifying the DNA of their children. Then, when their children grow into adults, they often have higher blood pressure and are 25 percent heavier in their weight.

Researchers remind woman who are trying to get pregnant to make sure they are getting enough Vitamin B12 and Folate to encourage healthy fetal development. So…. keep eating your green, leafy vegetables! :)
