I've bought a ton of stuff! We started buying clearance things here and there, before ttc. I actually got my dream bedding for 1/2 price PLUS proceeds help animal conservation (literally dream bedding - I dreamed that I would have polar animal bedding, and 2 weeks later, I saw it online)...I got 8 onesies, a sweater, 2 t-shirts, a creeper, a fleece hoodie and pants, and 4 pairs of socks...all for $30 (Carter's outlet, Osh Kosh outlet, and Target $ bins). So, why not get it while it's cheap? A friend (not knowing we're ttc and got arctic bedding) bought me a polar bear doll, so that's packed away. Plus books. I love books, too!

My great-grandma knitted me a blue blanky, and is currently working on a pink one - while she's still around, she says. My sister is waiting for my BFP, so she can start working on knitting me something, too.

I figure, I'm going to have a baby, one way or another, so I might as well save money! And it tides me over, and keeps me from giving up! It's all packed in storage now, though!

I was so hesitant at first in buying anything baby related for myself. Others no problem, but for me it was very hard to break down. First I thought it might jinx our efforts, but mostly I think it was because I just didn't like the reminder that I don't have a baby yet to put the stuff to use yet. BUT I told myself I have to get out of that mentality and put positive baby vibes out there so I have so far bought a cute 3 pack of onesies that say I love Mommy and have baby monkeys on them. SOO cute. I also bought DH a onesie (that he will get as part of the big announcement) that has little planes on it since he is a pilot. I am thinking about starting to buy other things too as I find them on sale and gradually build up our baby stock pile. I can't buy too much right now though since we are expecting to move anywhere from 3-6 monthes (darn military doesn't ever give you an exact time) and we figure we can get the bigger stuff there without having to haul it across country if we don't have to. While I was shopping for the baby showers I had to hold myself back... I wanted to buy sooo much stuff for me! HAHA. I can't wait to actually shop knowing its going to be used very soon!!

I haven't really bought anything for the baby (I have bought maternity clothes though), but I do a LOT of sewing and I've made quite a bit of stuff. I have several outfits for both a boy and a girl, onsies, about 40-50 cloth diapers, receiving blankets and burp cloths.. My DH has asked that we don't buy anything bigger until we get the BFP, which is sooo hard for me, because I know exactly which stroller, car seat, highchair and pack 'n play I want to get.

I've been afraid to jinx it... also afraid that if I start buying stuff I become completely obsessed. So no, I haven't gotten any baby stuff. I bought Fit Pregnancy 2 or 3 times, during 2ww:)... Once I'm PG, I'll give myself permission to enter baby stores:).

The only thing I have is a onsie with our last name on it. We have t-shirts that match it for us and even one for our dog. One day I am hoping that we can go out as a complete family all wearing our matching gray shirts.

We still have the big items(and sentimental) left over from Santino. Like the bassinet,crib,changing table. His car seat will expire this Decmber so can't use that. I remember the first I brought when I found out that I was preggers with Santino was a package of DIAPERS!!!! LOL I say for the next baby to come(very very soon I hope)- For the Baby shower- the theme gift to bring will be diapers diapers and more diapers!!!
Luckily for this previous pregnancy I did not buy anything. Because I did'nt want to "jinx" it. Except I did buy a nursing bra. Kinda like a 2 in one deal cause I needed a bigger one for my enourmously growing bbs, and figured I could use in 9 mths. ( I never did wear it, still has the tags on it). However after I miscarried I did splurge and had a really nice framed engraved, and placed the sonogram picture in.
