Hi Faithful,
I am soo sorry you are feeling so sad and alone right now. Don't give up! Please take it day by day; vent on this forum, talk it out with people you feel comfortable with, whether they be a support group, counselor, or pastor, etc. We are here for you!!! This is definitely a tough journey, in addition to whatever else life throws at us. I feel that it is hard for others to comprehend the stress and emotions we feel on this TTC journey unless they lived through it themselves (not even our husbands understand it at times). It's a very personal journey that takes on a whole new and different meaning compared to everything else we've experienced. Please know that you are in my thoughts and in my heart. Sending you lots of support, strength, and hugs.

Sandy

I am having a CRAZZZZY day ladies. UGH! I HATE THE 2WW!!!!!! Technically I could test on Friday but DH is going away for the weekend starting tomorrow and wants me to wait until we're together again Monday morning to test! SO I'm already going Crazy today and still have almost a week to wait. True there is nothing we can do about it in the 2ww, how in the world do you get your mind off it!?!?!!!!
God grant me the serenity to accept the waiting game
Courage to test only when I should
and the wisdom to stay sane in the 2ww!!
HAHA!!

First I want to start off by saying Im sending prayers to Faithful. I cant stop thinking about her.
Butterfly99...I know that 2ww is crazy. Im sorry I never responded to you yesterday. I was on the birth control pills years ago. I stopped taking them as they made me really sick. So, Ive used other methods of protection. I do BBT and use Opk's. I also just got a saliva ovulation microscope just about a week ago. I just starting using the BBT chart last month. Figures, I had a cold beginning of last month and also didnt have good sleeping habbits to chart very well. This month Ive been good with my wake up times and havent been sick. Well, I cant say havent been sick. I think last week I got some bug. (I was wishing morning sickness but, I highly doubt that) I had my period 4/1/10. I didnt get my opk's this month until the 4/14/10. Im thinking though I may have ovulated on the 14th of this month. I used a new brank of opk this month and I thought it was positive as it always shows on the other brand I used. But, I noticed that I only had two lines equal of the same color from the one on the 14th. But, Im not sure if we timed BD well this month. But, on the other hand I may not have. My bbt chart doesnt show that I ovulated. Ahh so confusing. It drives me crazy. Ill pray to give you strength to hold on in the 2ww. Best of luck to you Smile

Lisa, thanks!! We may have similar cycles this month. I O'd on the 13th, last period started 3/29.
I am such a FREAK! I came home after work and tested...I know it's not FMU, but I was like what the heck... of course BFN, but I know I'm too early to test... argh.

I really don't understand the BBT stuff...I got a thermometer and tried tracking this month, but the thing gave me crazy low readings like 93.5 and then I would try it 2 seconds after and get a 95.9 and then 2 seconds later and get a 95.2...but then the next morning back to 93.2 or something...and then go to my digital and get a 98. So I wasn't sure if it was just a bad thermometer, or something, but I have awful sleep habits so I know that could factor. Latter half of my cycle I've been checking my temps periodically and the same thermometer gives me 97 or 98 so I know that is good...I will try to be more diligent next month, but yes it's all soooo confusing and super frustrating!
Next month my doctor wants to do a FSH on CD3 and then a progesterone test 8 days after +OPK. I hope that tells me something... sometimes I wish we were just told something versus the whole unexplained infertility thing. ugh.

LOL. Too funny. I think 3 of us are in our 2ww. I try not to think about it though. I don't think I'm prego this month though. I can tell when my period is comming because my breasts start to hurt. ( I know tmi LOL) babydust to all!! I guess that could be a sign but I always get that way before my period. So where is everyone from? I'm from New York. Does anyone have plans for next month planning of ttc? Anyone eat certain foods to help with ferility issues? Sorry for all the questions. It's great to know I others to talk to and share our experiences and advice. I'm so glad I have others to talk to now. I can finally vent! Ahhh Big smile

Hi Lisa!
Never TMI around here... when you start talking about cervical mucus, best positions post BDing, etc, that line just goes right out the window! It's great to have a place where you can ask ANYTHING and not be judged, and people will respond! Smile
I've read and heard that raspberry tea helps strengthen the uterine lining, so I drink that almost daily anymore...other than that I just try to eat healthy (lots of berries for antioxidants, spinach and other leafy veggies) and also have switched to completely organic meat and dairy...I could go off on a tangent here about the importance of that, but I will spare you unless you're interested...I've also cut out canned tuna and other fishes that contain mercury- I didn't realize this until a couple months ago but toxins like mercury actually stay in your cells for a long time and the body isn't capable of just ridding that stuff by itself. I figure in June or when we take a break from TTC I will do a full system cleanse, but for now I'm really limiting my fish intake (some fish like wild salmon is ok), and taking a fish oil supplement, trying really hard to limit my alcohol intake, and also no pain meds except tylenol.
Does your DH take FertilAid for men? This could be good for him.

My bbs hurt when I'm about to start my period too... they haven't started yet, but I still have a few days. The odd thing for me is that this is a somewhat new thing. In June of last year I noticed that they hurt really BAD. So I really thought I was pregnant because they never hurt that bad before. But alas AF came, and ever since then they hurt really bad a couple days before she shows up. Thanks a lot, AF. haha. Just pour salt in the wound!

We are actually taking a break (or going to try to take a break) May/June because we're traveling in July... at this point I feel like we've tried just about everything that we can do on our own- trying to have sex more frequently throughout my cycle, every other day around ovulation, every day, 2x a day... I don't know what else to try! Sad
I'm in Colorado. Smile Oldest of 3 kids originally from Indiana, younger brother has a baby boy, would love to give him a cousin, but maybe I will just end up being the really cool Aunt in Colorado who showers him with gifts throughout his life. haha.

Hi Butterfly! I just read about the rasberry leaf tea. I didn't really understand what it's supposed to do. It also didn't mention where you can get it. If you have any info regarding it , I'd love to hear about it. My dr told me to start trying on day 10 and try to have intercourse every other day. So what you're doing I think is great. He also told me about fish. He said thats a big No, no. I don't eat fish anyway. I stopped drink coffee months ago. I just drink decaf. I haven't read anything that decaf can do anything. Also, I love my pepsi. So I just drink decaf. Is that bad that you're aware of? And as for diet... I might be bad with that. I just basically eat whatever. After reading alot today I see I should watch what I eat. I'll fill you in. I'm 5" and weigh about 104lbs. I'm tiny but not sickly skinny. LOL I'm not really a veggie person. Carrots and corn basically. As for meats. I like chicken, ham and turkey. Once in awhile a burger but, hardly ever. Broccali and spinch. I'll eat those only if it's mixed in something. Any recommendations on how or what I should be eating. I'm still new to all this. I just read and read and read. LOL. I guess I could ask friends but, I don't want to tell them that my dh and I have been trying. I just don't want to hear " are you pregnant yet". Since I've gotten married, all I hear is..."when are you having babies". My responce is... In time. What I want to say sometimes is..it's non of your business. I only say that all the people I know don't have any issues with ttc. But, I do. They just don't understand. Which I'm sure you all know. Thanks for talking to me butterfly! It means alot.

*still thinking and praying for Faithful*
