If you are taking Clomid as part of your TTC (trying to conceive) plan, your doctor probably mentioned that if after 3 months you have not conceived, you would need to consider moving onto a plan B.
What would plan B look like?
Plan B would vary depending on your medical history and specific fertility issues. But it may include trying to stimulate the hormones using injections of Bravelle, Ovidrelle or Follistim. Your doctor may also encourage you to opt for a monthly IUI (intrauterine insemination) in conjunction with your Clomid regiment for another 3 cycles.
Finally, a last step may be looking into in-vitro fertilization as your plan for conception.
The good news is that there are other alternatives for your TTC plan even if Clomid isn’t successful!
