A new fertility test called genomic hybridization (CGH), more than doubles the chances that an embryo will successfully implant to the woman’s womb during IVF.
The pilot study was conducted by US and UK researchers and they just shared their exciting findings at the American Society of Reproductive Medicine’s 64th annual conference last weekend.
The study was made up of 23 women that were between the ages of 30-42. All 23 of the women were screened with the CGH test and had the embryo transfer procedure done.
Amazingly, 20 of the 23 women became pregnant!!!!!!!!!
Researchers had hoped for at least a 25% success rate. So you can imagine how excited they are to expand this study in the UK after an over 85% success rate!!!!
