Hi Sarahbug,
Have you been doing the BBT charting? I find it very helpful to figure out where I am in my cycle. And it's another piece of the puzzle that confirms all the other signs.
I'm 11 DPO...keep your fingers crossed.

Ok, had to come back online...just went to the bathroom and had a little spotting...implantation spotting??
ArmyWife...did you see this as a sign? I know, I am trying not to read into anything to much.

I'm trying to figure out the BBT charting, meaning I looked at it thought it was confusing and put it on the back burner until later. Since my AF sometimes comes and sometimes doesn't I'm really having a hard time with "maybe im pregnant and thats why im late" and "stupid AF just come so I can figure this out". Yeah, I'll check out BBT charting to help me figure it all out.

FX cara that your BFP is right around the corner!

Hey guys, its been a while since I've been on here. And hello to my new buddy Sarahbug! I've been really sick this past week. I think it was the flu, but since I never went to the doctor I'm not sure. I had all the symptoms of a very bad cold, but a fever as well, so it was miserable. And just when I thought I was getting better, the stomach part hit me and I started throwing up a lot...bummer!! I'm finally starting to feel better, which is good because work is getting absolutely crazy. I'm an Event Planner, and December is our busiest month. A lot going on!

Sarah, I'm doing the same things as you ~ the OPKs and the FertilAid. I did notice that the FertilAid seemed to make my cycles more regular the first month. It was a shorter cycle, and AF was around for a shorter time and was lighter than normal. That's a plus! I'm supposed to OV sometime this week....it's a good thing I'm feeling better! I haven't wanted my poor husband to so much as touch me this past week! I just hope I didn't miss it being sick and all, and that we still have a chance this month. I've been doing the OPK's the last two days, and nothing but negatives so far.

This is my second month using the OPKs, and I definitely saw a very clear, dark second line. So if you only saw a light line Sarah, you're probably getting ready for the LH surge. Just keep testing, maybe even do it twice a day.

Anyway, just wanted to update myself with you guys, see how everything was going. Cara, thanks for the email, and I hope you did have implantation bleeding! Keeping my FX for you!

And here's hoping that none of you get the flu....MISERABLE!!!

I got my flu shot so hopefully won't get it..sounds horrible. I think all the signs for being prego are the same for getting your AF so I may just be spotting and getting AF soon. I'll keep checking my temp to see if it goes down. But of course you can't discount the biggest AF sign that you can count on...my hubby is pissing me off, and he only said hello!

Hi Ladies!
I hope you don't mind me butting in. Every so often I like to eavesdrop on the TTC Buddies boards, because they're a little more personal and I feel like I get to know you all a little better that way.

Sarahbug, I've never used the OPKs from this site, but the way OPKs are "supposed" to work is that until the test line is AS dark or DARKER than the control line, it's a negative. With the brand I used (Answer, 20-day kit), I had two days of faint test lines before I got my actual positive. That is not uncommon. It is called a "fade-in pattern," and it basically means that your LH is on the rise, but it hasn't really surged yet. Keep testing (at least) until you get your true positive. Then BD, BD, BD! For me and my hubby, we BD'd the night I got my first positive, twice the next day, once more the third day, and again the fourth day. Now, I know this is not the case for everyone, but that did the trick for us!

And don't let BBT charting intimidate you. I thought it was going to be such a hassle and really complicated, but it wasn't. In fact, I was surprised at how easy it was, and how much I learned about my cycle, even in the one month that I did it. There are lots of internet sites (including this one) that will help you chart your BBTs. I think www.fertilityfriend.com is one of the favorites of many of the gals on these boards. When you sign up for your FREE membership, you can also opt-in to get 20 e-mail lessons on fertility signs, charting, etc. They are quick and easy to read, and VERY informative. Personally, I liked the added assurance that the BBTs gave me. You could always talk to Lishwa (Lisa), because she is a veteran BBTer, so she'd be able to tell you all the tricks of the trade. Wink

Best wishes to each of you for baby blessings!
Smile

Soo... FX for those BFP and sending baby dust wishes!

Hey There,
Yes, finally got my AF. My temperature dropped today 6 points. Yahoo! Why I am happy?? Well my cycle this month was 21 days. Last cycle was 41. UGH!! So, maybe I am getting back to normal since coming off the pill and the Vitex is working. My cycle before the 41 was also 21 days. Also, from OV to AF was exactly 14 days...that is a good sign that my hormones are normal. I love fertilityfriend. it has really helped me plan everthing. Only a few more days till OV, which will be around Dec 19 or 20th...how exciting! Here is what my horoscope says....I'm an Aries
"Over the weekend of December 19-20 and continuing on Monday, December 21, Jupiter and Neptune will make their third and final rendezvous this year, not to meet again in this decade, not until 2022. This lovely aspect is a gift, and coming so close to the holidays is quite special, for it brings a message of hope, happiness, and love. With Jupiter, the planet of gifts and luck, meeting with Neptune, planet of dreams and inspirations, in your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, this aspect may prove to you that dreams really do come true. Something you dearly want - spiritually or materially - may now be close enough to touch. Friends will again play a prominent role in the happiness you feel.
At the very same time, December 20, Venus and Jupiter will be in a lyrical, loving aspect, sprinkling you with pixie dust and allowing you to shine at any gathering."

I love that horoscope! That sounds so promising!! That's also very good news that your hormones are balancing out. Taking the FertilAid has helped me do that as well. Based on last month's cycle, I put on my calendar when I should OV. Despite being very sick this month, sure enough on Dec. 11th I got a positive OPK. Bad news is since the sickness and being very, very busy at work, I haven't had the energy (nor the desire) to do much bding. I did bd when I got the positive OPK, skipped a day, then bd'd again the day after. So I might have a small chance this month. I pretty much decided when I got sick that this month was a bust anyway, so my feelings won't be hurt (too much) if I don't get my BFP in December.

But as Christmas and the holidays approach, I wish you guys the best of luck, and my gift to you is tons of baby dust so that maybe we'll all get our little miracle this Christmas!!
