I am currently at Ft. Detrick, MD. I've been to Fort Campbell, KY and Camp Roberts, CA. What does your hubby do in the Army. I am pretty much a worker in the IT dept. I help fix email, internet, computer issues. It feels sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good to be getting out!!! I just got my separation orders today! So good to hold a piece of paper that says "You are released from active duty..."

lol I bet!! We started at Ft. Benning, GA now were at Schofield Barracks, HI. I figured I would love living here so we were so excited to get this post but everything is way to expensive I mean it would be great for vacation but not to live to many ppl in such a small area. anyways he's a Combat En. yea he loves it and I try to hide the fact that this next deployment is gonna be soooooo much more stressful than the last one. He just pulled security for building crews last time. were hoping for Ft. Carson, CO next he'll re-up when he's deployed so we'll see.

FT Campbell is a really nice post as well, rotates on deployment frequently though, but so does Carson as I understand. The area is really nice with Campbell I really loved it. And it's CHEAP living expenses Smile I can't imagine being pregnant and having a young child by myself for a year, i've been doing it since September and I had to have my mom come help. I hope you have a strong support system, it will help A LOT. Can't beat the medical insurance though, that's for sure Smile I had my daughter in Cali and there was no military medical facilities near our base so I got civillian care (very nice) and the bill was over $40K!!!! Thank you very much Tricare for paying every last penny Smile

Yep i've only recieved one medical bill and thats because I took my son to a doctor at home and made an apt instead of going to the er. And I have the best support system anyone could ask for besides my DH my mom is my best friend lol one of my parents call at least once a day sometimes they both call .... my lil man is pretty easy going I dont have to much trouble getting things done I got pretty lucky he seems pretty content but im not pregnant yet so things could def change lol we welcome that though Smile . My brother is a marine stationed out of Camp Pendleton and loves it out there in CA but I guess I prefer a snowy christmas Smile you know Ft. Benning was pretty cheap bah here is more than doubled plus COLA Puzzled and its still tough. but even though being in the military is pretty tough, I previously served as well, I think being the wife of a soldier is almost harder. The hurry up and wait, waiting up on late nights during the ranges or the field. I support him in his choice to stay in you know its nice to always have help and support and a paycheck every 1st and 15th lol. and living and seeing and experiencing the different places is nice to. well sometimes lol I also plan to go back home when my DH deploys no sence in staying so far away and be alone so I can put our stuff in storage and then pocket the BAH which will be nice Smile

Getting my AF finally! It's been about 42 days. Guess I was wrong about the ovulation thing. But I'm glad because now that I figured some things out I can start from day 1. I also saw a huge dip in my temp. It was slowing dropping the last 2 days around 97.6 and this morning it was 97.2.
Here's an interesting fun fact. Did you know that you have a better chance of conceiving if you OV around the same time as the phase of the moon when you were born? You find out the day and time (if known) of when you were born and if your MC coinsides with the luteal phase of the moon, your are in sync. I was born before the 3/4 and full moon. Because my AF was delayed this month I am now in sync and should ovulate next month right before the full moon. Do you think it's a cooincidence?

im not really sure its awfully convient for it all to land like that Smile so maybe so!! you know i'v tried to do some reading up on that but unless i pay for my own reading i dont get much info. Thats great about AF i mean those few days suck but it means that your cycle is starting to get back into the swing of things.... your definitely doing things right! Smile if it works for you i might just look more into it!

Hey guys!! So, my last two buddies both got their BFP within about a week and a half of each other...I hope I can bring some good luck over to you guys now too!!

So, my story....

My DH and I have been married for about a year and a half now. We waited about six months before we started trying for a child. But we never were very serious about it. I didn't chart, I didn't take any OPK's, and I was inconsistent with my prenatals. About a month ago I had my ten year high school reunion. After that passed, we decided we'd get down to business! I now take FertilAid to make me more regular, and I've been using OPK's nonstop. This month, my first with the "extra help," I got two different positive OPK's, about three days apart. Unfortunately, with all the bd'ing my DH and I were doing, I got a stupid UTI and had to cut it short! Not sure if we were successful or not, right now I'm either 10 or 13 dpo. I've taken a couple of HPT's, but since my cycles are about 30 days I really know it's too early to tell.

I've read through all the previous posts, so I think I'm caught up with everyone. Thanks for letting me join your group! Since I've lost two buddies to the BFP, maybe I'll be next Wink
