I have to admit that it is a struggle for me. I don’t always wake up at the same time each morning and I don't always take my temperature before I move around. Even though I know that to get accurate data using Basal Body Temperature charting (BBT) that I have to measure my resting temperature, I can only pull it off a few days a week.
That being said, although it is a struggle for me to actually collect the data; I love being able to track my cycle and look for patterns. It is almost addicting to keep track of my temperatures and watch them rise and fall before and after ovulation. Maybe it is because it is one of the only things that I can control during this topsy turvey TTC (trying to conceive) journey.
I can’t wait for the day where my temperature shoots up .5 during ovulation and stays up well past when I am expecting my period. That will be a happy day!
