Hi Julie (I'm assuming your name is Julie! Smile ) I'll start by telling you a bit about myself. My name is Jamie and I live in snowy Iowa! We just got 22 inches of snow over Christmas!!!! I am 29 and have been married for 7 years. We have a 3 year old named Aidan. I got pregnant with him quite easy. It took 6 months after going off the pill. This time has been a little different. I have been TTC for 18 months. We weren't actively trying at first but not trying to prevent it either! I had a miscarriage in March 2009. I was only a few weeks along. Did not require a D&C. Just happened naturally. It was pretty devastating. I don't chart temps or ovulation. Just keep track of my cycle which has been crazy the last year. I used to be more regular off the pill than on! Like every 4th Thurs @ 7pm. So I knew right away when I was preggo with Aidan. These past 18 months have just been so different. I was regular at first but a couple months before I got preggo/m/c it got off - due to stress. Since my m/c it's pretty irregular. Seems to be getting better lately... I just received my order of instead soft cups, preseed, and ovulation test strips. Hoping that maybe if I pay attention... it will happen! Smile When I got preggo in Feb, we BD'ed 13 days in a row! My DH was trying to set a record or something... but it worked! Wink I know I'm capable of getting preggo... just having trouble getting it to "stick"! Anyways... looking forward to getting to know you.

Hi Jamie, yep my name is Julie. I live in MO. We just got a pretty dusting of snow on Christmas. 22" WOW, I don't think I can even imagine what that much snow would look like.
I am 40 going to turn 41 in Feb. Me and Tony have lived together for 14yrs. I really want to be married but he has been the hold up on that front. We have one son, Devon (pronounced D von) he will be 3yrs old in April. We didn't think we wanted children for a long time. Then I started watching my friends little baby when she had to go back to work on 3rd shift, then she got moved to 2nd shift, anyway that made us think we might want to try before we got to old. We started trying right before I turned 37 and we got PG in 2 months had a m/c at 7weeks, rested tor 2 months then started trying again and was PG again in 2 months. That gave us Devon. Tony said "One and done" but now we are going to try again for #2. I hope we can get PG again, I want Devon to have a sibling. I work fulltime and have been working a lot of overtime since September when they let 2 people from my department go. I'll try to check in at least once a day, sorry if I miss a day, sometimes I'm just too tired. Talk to you tomorrow.

Good Morning, I get up around 3am most days, at work by 5am. Just thought I would add a little bit more to my introduction. I take my temps, take prenatal vitamins, and I started taking EPO. I'm hoping to get my package today. I ordered OPK's, and Preseed. We used them last time we were TTC. I've never used these kind of OPK's, I used Answer, I think. I hope I like them.

Got to finish getting ready for work. Have a great day!! Smile

Well I'm off to work again. I should be off today but we have to much to do and have to work. It's all going to be overtime so I just keep thinking it will be a nice check. I've been taking the class Financial Peace University by Dave Ramsey, the extra money will help pay off some more debt. It is a great class. I recommend it to anyone wanting to take control of their money instead of their money controlling them. Tony lost his job last May and there is no chance of going back since they are shutting down the whole place next June. So many of our friends work there. It is really sad. Gotta go. Baby dust to all!

Hi Ladies, I'm excited to part of this group! I'll tell you guys a little about myself. My name is Angie and I'm turning 30 later this month. DH and I have been married a little over 4 years and just started TTC this October when I got off the pill. Ideally, we wanted to conceive in December or January, so I have been ramping up my efforts a little more each month. I just re-started doing OPKs - I gave up the first month when I kept testing around my anticipated O date and got no +. This time I'm testing daily and we'll see what happens..... I also have been on PNV for about 3.5 mos and just started taking Omega 3s this week. I'm a nurse practitioner and work in bariatrics (treating obesity), so I work a lot with women with PCOS, etc., so if anyone has questions about any of that, I'll do my best to help out. Anyway, if you search Omega 3 and fertility, there is a lot of information about the benefits of this supplement before and during pregnancy to help regulate hormones, improve cervical mucus, prevent m/c and help with baby's brain development, so I'm hoping my Omegas will help regulate my cycle that started getting a little erratic due to stress. If things don't work out for us this month, I will probably consider some additional supplements like the EPO and maybe something like soft cups (although I can't imagine how my DH will react to me shoving something into my vag after BD, LOL). The whole BD pressure has been a little hard for us because he is always tired after work and trying for baby kinda zaps the romance for us. Anyway, it's great to meet you guys and I wish the best of luck and baby dust to all in the New Year!!!!

Angie

I started my OPK's and had my positive on Thurs! Smile So... i guess I'm in the 2ww now! I used the soft cups for the first time. I'm really hoping for my positive!!
